Brother Stair's Overcomer Ministry Teachings

Open Rebuke

Open Rebuke is better than secret love, says the scriptures, but it is not saying that open rebuke is best or that it is even loving.

Open rebuke.  Is it the most excellent way?

My People Do Not Consider

Isaiah 1:3  My people doth not consider...

This is spoken against a people, or church, that is doing the following:

  • Allowing sin in the camp
  • Leaders that walk in sin
  • Leaders are rebellious in Gods holy ways
  • Leaders that steal from God & His people
  • Leaders that love reward, honor, and praise
  • Keep Sabbath days, Feast Days, and Prayer times
  • Believe they are “looking to Jesus”

Straining at Gnats – Swallowing Camels

The apostasy of the day brings us teachers and preachers that pervert the word of Almighty God to justify their own sins.

There are those who are saying that all sins are the same.  That there are no big and little sins.  Though this is contrary to scripture they convince their hearers that this is true by using, or misusing, other scriptures.

The whole of scripture shows us that all sins are not the same.  All sin needs a blood sacrifice to redeem from it.  Note that the blood sacrifice for adultery was the sacrifice (stoning) of the adulterer.  It was a crime that you only did once.

The Old Testament sets down Gods punishments for different sins, showing that God looks at sins differently.  The New Testament confirms this through Jesus and Paul.  There are different degrees of sin.

Jesus condemned the Pharisees for making others little sins weightier than their bigger sins when He said that they “have omitted the weightier matters of the law - judgment”, and they did this by “strain at a gnat, and swallow[ing] a camel”. [Matthew 23:23-24]

Message to the Overcomer Ministry Saints

A Message from Paul, A Call to Action to the Saints
from 1 Corinthians 5 (TLB)

Everyone is talking about the terrible thing that has happened there among you, …  you have a man in your church who is living in sin  … And are you still so conceited, so “spiritual”?  Why aren’t you mourning in sorrow and shame and seeing to it that this man is removed from your membership?   You are to call a meeting of the church…  and cast out this man from the fellowship of the church and into Satan’s hands, to punish him, … What a terrible thing it is that you are boasting about your purity and yet you let this sort of thing go on.  Don’t you realize that if even one person is allowed to go on sinning, soon all will be affectedRemove this evil cancer—this wicked person—from among you, so that you can stay pure. … you are not to keep company with anyone who claims to be a brother Christian but indulges in sexual sins, …or abusive.  Don’t even eat lunch with such a person.  But it certainly is our job to judge and deal strongly with those who are members of the church and who are sinning in these ways. … you yourselves must deal with this man and put him out of your church.

Pope Invites Brother Stair for Personal Audience

Brother Stair,

As you well may know, His Holiness Pope Francis will make a historic, landmark journey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA in the month of September, in the year of our Lord 2015.  Pope Francis has heard your broadcast and is troubled frankly with the statements and charges you have made against the Holy Roman Catholic Church on the international radio broadcast, "The Overcomer".  Pope Francis would very much like to open a dialogue with you and attempt to breach the wall of partition that so divides Protestants and Catholics alike.  His Holiness Pope Francis formally requests a private meeting with you Brother Stair to see if we can come to an equitable solution to Protestant and Catholic issues. ... We do request Brother Stair that you wear appropriate attire for the purpose of meeting Pope Francis – a black suit, black shirt and shoes and a black necktie. Should you not have these items available they will be provided for you upon your arrival.  We also do request that you respect our protocol and that upon meeting the Pope, you will kneel, kissing his ring and only addressing him as “Holy Father” or “Your Holiness”. ... After all, we as Catholics believe that all Churches including Protestant will eventually return home – to the Holy Roman Catholic Church which The Apostle Peter established.  Your earliest response is appreciated.

[Brother Stair responds]
"Well, we shall see as this goes forward.. Be sure to  heart the broadcast."

This is God’s work!

All you have to do is look at what is on satellite, TV, shortwave, or AM radio and you will see the kind of nut jobs that are out there in the name of God.  All believing and teaching that God has put them there and that God provides the money for them to be there.

Is there a true voice in the wilderness preaching to Gods people today?

Observing Times & Seasons

How turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

I am afraid of you

Am I, therefore, become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

for I stand in doubt of you.
