Keep on loving each other as brothers (Hebrews 13:1 NIV84).

Let’s all remember the prophet’s words at this pivotal point in the changing of the Overcomer guard, in regard to those that would change his words.

They had feared [revered] other gods {Bro Stair} and walked in the customs [statutes] of the nations whom the Lord had driven out before the sons of Israel, and in the customs of the kings of Israel [Bro Stair} which they had introduced [made]. The sons of Israel did things secretly which were not right against the Lord their God. However, they did not listen, but stiffened their neck like their fathers {Bro Stair}, who did not believe in the Lord their God. They rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers and His warnings with which He warned them. And they followed vanity and became vain,… They forsook all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves molten images,… and practiced divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him. So the Lord was very angry with Israel {Overcomers} and removed them from His sight; none was left except the tribe of Judah. Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the customs [statutes] which Israel {Bro Stair} had introduced. The Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them and gave them into the hand of plunderers {court settlements, FBI Raid, communities taking lands,…}, until He had cast them out of His sight… they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam {King Stair} drove Israel away from following the Lord and made them commit a great sin. The sons of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam {Bro Stair} which he did; they did not depart from them until the Lord removed Israel from His sight.

They feared the Lord and served their own gods. So they do to this day.

Same as it Ever Was

Today’s Service goes on with a previous service railing and name-calling about brothers that don’t support what the ruling class wants and makes them antichrists. Never defining what they are saying or why they are doing what we are to just accept from the mouth of James Rice as an antichrist.

Certainly, it is anti-Rice, which is why he is so upset and making it the whole of his propaganda platform again today. Perhaps he (and his congregation) doesn’t realize that he’s putting himself in the place of Christ and this is why he’s calling it antichrist.

This has been the whole message of the Overcomer Broadcast for decades – to harp on what is bothering the ruler. Never focusing on feeding the flock of God or perfecting them in Christ. It’s all about justifying that what the speaker is saying and doing is right and that those who oppose this in any way are antichrists and should leave. This was Brother Stair’s sole message over his last twenty years since he was caught in adultery and having lied to us about being a holy man without sin. This revelation of his wickedness changed his preaching into always defending himself. It was sickening.

The Spirit of the Age

Here we are again seeing the spirit of the age at work in the Overcomer Ministry. Pastor James Rice is grabbing up the mantel of Brother Stair to follow on as the exalted one, if not soon to be the Prophet. This will become clearer and clearer in the next few days during the Feast of Tabernacles Services where he has clearly taken up the mantel of the evil spirits that Brother Stair operated in.

Pastor Rice displays this throughout his messages. To which Proverbs 10 makes some of these things manifest.

Violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked v11
Hatred stirs up dissension v12
The mouth of a fool invites ruin v14
Whoever ignores correction leads others astray v17
He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool. v18

The worst emotions/actions are resentment, deceit, and arrogance.

Simply Stated

Let us state that as simple as we can, and it really is this simple.

Do good, walk in the path of righteousness, repent of all sin, love your neighbor as you love yourself, love God and serve only Him. If you do these things, Pastor Rice and Overcomers, then you will not be bickering about those who are against you. You will not be stirring up discord amongst those who do not have issues with the others (Pr 6:16-19, 14; Mt 18:15).

Arrogant know-it-alls stir up discord, but wise men and women listen to each other’s counsel. (Proverbs 13:10 MSG)

Thus in so doing, you will silence the others IF they are really in error (1Pt 2:15). Oh yeah, the way you do that is by submission, not demanding submission (1Pt 2:13). Thus they will see your good works and glorify your Father (Matt 5:16). But the fact that this is not what James Rice is doing, rather he is teaching the church to be in discord (Pr 6:19), shows us all that he is the one that is in error and is seeking to justify himself among all (Rom 10:3; Lk 10:29). We hope you’re not blinded to not see that.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep your eyes on those who cause dissensions and create obstacles or introduce temptations [for others] to commit sin, [acting in ways] contrary to the doctrine which you have learned. Turn away from them. For such people do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites and base desires. By smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting [the innocent and the naive (simple)].

Like the political spirit of the age that we are seeing today in the political parties where there is one that is claiming itself (like the Overcomer Ministry and Pastor Rice are doing) as the party of unity, love, and compassion, but instead, it manifests itself in division, inequality, censorship, and the moral standard.

If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked (Pr 29:12)

Divide and Conquer

James Rice is trying to conquer. Yes, this is the same outline from last week. Sadly it still applies.

Jehu has a word of witness for the Overcomer house of Ahab and James Rice’s vain seeking of peace – What peace, so long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? (2Kings 9:22). Yes, the continuation of Brother Stair’s many Jezebel harlotries – are at work in the Overcomer – one of which Pastor Rice has likewise taken unto himself [Rose], and continued in. The whoredoms continue (2Pt 3:4). Not only spiritually in the teachings but also manifesting physically.

Censorship

The censoring of the brothers that are against James Rice continues so that no one can know the truth that they speak.

This is the way of an adulteress: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, ‘I have done nothing wrong.’ (Pr 30:20 BSB)

Under the Influence

Not discerning the body. Still pertains.

In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established (2Cor 13:1)

Church Discipline

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

One witness [Brother Stair or Pastor Rice] shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established (Deut 19:15).

Read Your Bible!

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Pr 3:6 NIV78/RSV). What does that tell us about Brother Stair and Pastor Rice? Where you have crooked paths you have people who do not acknowledge God in all their ways – no matter how they speak to the contrary. They are liars. God’s word is true. God’s word will reveal to you the way these men walk. Read your Bible and depart from these worthless idols (Jonah 2:8 NIV84). Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace (Pr 3:17). Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not Thy law (Ps 119:134).
