These are the ones who are hidden reefs [stains] in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, like shepherds caring only for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, churning up their own shameful deeds like dirty foam; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage. “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly–minded, devoid of the Spirit. We are the Result…

We are the result [of]… coming up to the knowledge of Christ hearing of another Jesus and being born of another spirit. Most of us, including myself, we were not born right. We were not saved right. That’s because we were saved under another spirit.

Of False Salvation

This is the result of Brother Stair’s false gospel that he preaches. This also is saying that Jesus didn’t save us right (Heb 5:9). The matter of departing from that and unto a false prophet is what we were warned about in Matthew 7:15-20 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Of Not Abiding in Christ

Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father (1John 2:24) You see, the reason that the Overcomers are not saved is that they have turned away from what they first heard and unto another (Gal 1:6-8) and that other is telling them that saving work of Christ is not right.

This lie that God didn’t save us right and that He is not able to keep us is so clearly exposed in the scriptures. But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do]. And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed and shrink from Him at His coming (1John 2:26-28 AMPC). Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all (Jn 13:10). Not all – that would be the unclean false prophet that is leading you away (1Jn 2:26 AMP).

Of Following False Instruction

Now we see why Brother Stair teaches us against what John tells us – you have no need that anyone should instruct you (1Jn 2:27). That belief, that salvation, cannot be tolerated at the Overcomer. Brother Stair (and not Pastor Rice) is to be the instructor. And primarily the instructor of your salvation, as we see in this statement of Brother Stairs’. Beware saints!!! These things I have written to you with reference to those who are trying to deceive you [seducing you and leading you away from the truth and sound doctrine] (1Jn 2:26 AMP).

This error of being saved right can also be attributed to a people (and a prophet) that didn’t abide in Christ but sought out their own glory and a Community where they could save their flesh. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the Vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me (John 15:4). Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it (Luke 17:33). Sadly, they have chosen to follow a prophet rather than the Christ that saved them. So what happened here, not that they were not saved right but that they did not continue in Christ. In Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3).

Of Following the Flesh

So what are you doing following another thinking he’s going to give you wisdom and knowledge? Such knowledge is not from above. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2Cor 10:5). That wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish (James 3:15).

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Rom 1:28-31).

Of Blaming Jesus

Thus, Brother Stair is blaming Jesus for not saving us right – it was Jesus who saved you, right? Did He do something wrong? When Brother Stair here saying that Jesus didn’t save him and us right, is he acknowledging that he failed to abide in Christ? Or perhaps he’s also acknowledging that he (and they) did not obey Christ as Hebrews 5:9 says we must – He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him (Heb 5:9).

Of Disobeying Jesus

Well, maybe that’s the problem here and not Jesus saving you wrong. You didn’t obey Him – the true Jesus. You know, like when you disobeyed Him and followed another Jesus – that ‘other Jesus’ Brother Stair. That man that claims to be Greater Than Jesus. Have you followed him and therefore not obeyed Jesus? You have indeed followed another Jesus. It was Jesus (the real one) that warned you of men like Brother Stair who come in sheep’s clothing, as angels of light (the 7th Angel) – to deceive you and lead you away from the true Jesus (Mt 7:15; 2Cor 11:14; Mk 13:5; Mt 24:4; Col 2:8).

So by those scriptures, if you’re still following Brother Stair – then you are not following the true Jesus that warned you against him. Perhaps Brother Stair is right then when he says you’re not saved right. Your other Jesus has unsaved you. He cannot save. You need to ask yourself, who authored your salvation if it wasn’t Jesus? (Heb 5:9)

Finally

Finally, we really hope you grasped what Brother Stair said here – he’s not saved right., he’s not born again right. That right there should be enough to flee from him and turn to Jesus Who we hope authored your salvation (Heb 5:9, 12:2).

That ‘Other Spirit’ Pleased the Flesh.

The ‘other Jesus’ appealed to the flesh.

That other Jesus is Brother Stair himself who claimed to be Christ in your midst, the Son of Man today. Yes, he went as far as to make himself greater than Jesus Christ.

The ‘Other Spirit’ Speaks Heresy

Let’s not forget that 13 years after that heresy was spoken, Brother Stair reaffirms this teaching in November 2019 by saying: “Never a man spake like this man, not even Jesus, not even Paul.” As just stated in Romans 1:28-31, we see this ‘other Jesus’ appeal to the flesh in Brother Stair’s fruits (Matt 7:20). The Result of… a False Gospel

Thus it makes sense in his mind to tell us that we weren’t saved right because we weren’t saved under his false gospel according to his false christ. This opening statement in the first 4 minutes of this Service should be enough for any saved Christian to flee in horror from this false teacher. Perhaps the reason so many just buy into this rhetoric is because they have been converted to Brother Stair’s false salvation. His Christless salvation which replaces Jesus as the mediator and replaces Him with the Prophet as our go-between (1Tim 2:5; Heb 9:15).

A gossip goes around spreading rumors, while a trustworthy man tries to quiet them (Proverbs 11:13 TLB).

The wicked accuse; the godly defend (Pr 12:6 TLB).

Read Your Bible!

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Pr 3:6 NIV78/RSV). What does that tell us about Brother Stair and Pastor Rice? Where you have crooked paths you have people who do not acknowledge God in all their ways – no matter how they speak to the contrary. They are liars! God’s word is true. God’s word will reveal to you the way these men walk. Read your Bible and depart from these worthless idols (Jonah 2:8 NIV84). Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace (Pr 3:17). Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not Thy law (Ps 119:134).
