Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward [perverse man] is abomination to the Lord: but His secret is with the righteous [not the prophets]. The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked [immoral, contrary to the moral law]: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. (Pr 3:31-33, 11:20)
Shame has been the promotion of Brother Stair and Pastor Rice (Prov 3:35). This isn’t specifically talking about their self-promotion of their abominable adulterous relationship they both have had with Rose Larivee which they try to justify to remove the shame thereof (Mark 6:18). The wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame (Pr 13:5).
Sin is a reproach to any people (Pr 14:34), so why isn’t it a reproach to the Overcomer people? Or is it that we are not hearing from those at the Overcomer who find this particular sin a reproach? Those ‘others’ that Pastor Rice talks about all the time – yet censors their voices of reproach.
You need to learn to listen to what is not being said. What is being said in the way things are said to skirt the real issues? As Brother Kirk taught; learn to think, rather than blindly give a nod of approval or an amen at whatever the speaker says (1Jn 2:27; Gal 4:16).
Below we have expounded on a few points that stuck out in Service today. As you will see, there is so much that can be weeded out of even the smallest things that are said or go on at the Overcomer. Their balance is false and God’s truth exposes it (Prov 11:1; Heb 4:12).
Exemplifying Wickedness
Pastor Rice justifies Rose [his brother’s wife whom he unlawfully has (Mark 6:18)] to try and further the congregation’s acceptance of her (and their) wickedness. It’s pure adulterated wickedness. The religiously righteous overtones don’t stop it from being pure wickedness. The false balance doesn’t stop it from being pure wickedness (Pr 11:1).
The reason they don’t see it is that they don’t understand what wickedness is (Dan 12:10; Hosea 4:14; Pr 15:21). Like Brother Stair who couldn’t define wickedness, he exemplified wickedness as he defined things that were not wicked so that he could continue to get away with walking in his gross wickedness (Mt 7:20). James Rice has done even worse by taking his spiritual fathers’ concubine unto himself and away from her husband (Mk 6:18). Yet he has managed to keep most of the congregation buying into this wicked relationship to be ordained by God. Same as it ever was. It is abomination to fools to depart from evil (Pr 13:19).
The things that scripture actually defines as wickedness and abomination, these men (deceivers) turn you away from realizing, and they tell you that ambiguous things are wickedness and iniquity. While the things that they actually engage themselves in – these things scripture clearly defines as wicked. Like this example of Pastor Rice having his brother’s wife – which is unlawful according to the word of God (Mark 6:18).
You see, they want to spin you away from their doings to focus you on something (or someone) else – like what others are doing by not joining us here in the Tabernacle to celebrate our wicked life choices. He wants his false balance to be delighted in. He wants to make his adulterous Rose marriage look right in your eyes. A false balance is abomination to the LORD (Pr 11:1).
The wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand
(Dan 12:10)
Prophecy Failed
This lack of understanding (Dan 12:10; Hosea 4:14) is exemplified by James Rice when he says, listeners and those on the Farm are all asking where are we in prophecy? This confusion is because they cannot come to the knowledge of the truth (2Tim 3:7; 1Tim 2:4) to see that their prophet lied to them and they are now sheep without a shepherd (Mt 9:36), wandering in the Twilight Zone with no direction because all of Brother Stair’s prophecies have failed. The expectation of the wicked shall perish (Pr 10:28, 11:7).
His followers don’t appear to have that understanding (Dan 12:10; Pr 15:21) because they have been given over to a strong delusion because they choose to believe these lies (2Thes 2:11). Followers of Christ should understand (Pr 15:21). It’s time to wake up and flee (Pr 14:7, 16, 27; Pr 16:6, 17; Pr 22:24; Pr 24:21)!
Where they are in prophecy is the time of the deceivers – Many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many (Mark 13:6 BSB, NKJV, YLT, ASV). This is how Brother Stair came – In Christ’s name, claiming that he was the one, The Prophet, the son of man, the Voice of God, the Last Day Prophet of God, … (Ps 146:3). It doesn’t get much clearer than that folks. But since some don’t want to come to the knowledge of the truth, read on and it will become crystal clear (2Tim 3:7; 1Tim 2:4).
Brother Stair was one of the many great deceivers that used God’s Name to deceive people thereby (Matt 24:5, 24). This testimony was finally sealed with his death which showed that his prophecies regarding the end times, his death, and Jesus’ return have all failed. If he was a prophet then he is clearly a false prophet (Deut 13:1-3, 8-10). The only way around that is to ignore God’s word – which his followers have proven well able to do.
I Am He
Brother Stair made himself out to be greater than Jesus Christ, the Comforter that has come, and many other claims to be God. This was a test that those that didn’t flee from him failed.
If a prophet or someone who has dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, and that sign or wonder he has promised you comes about, but he says, ‘Let us follow other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us worship them,’ [another Jesus, another gospel, another Comforter] do not listen to that prophet’s words or to that dreamer. You must not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity, and do not spare him or shield him. Instead, you must kill him. Your hand is to be the first against him to put him to death, and then the hands of all the people. (Deut 13:1-3, 8-9 Holman Christian Standard Bible)
How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. (Deut 18:21, 22, 20)
It’s clear – unless, you’ve been sold another way of looking at it (2Pt 2:1). And those tales come to you by these false prophet deceivers (Mt 7:15) who don’t want you using God’s word to know them by – Ye shall know them by their fruits. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (Matt 7:16-20). It’s not a mystery or by some witness – it’s by THEIR fruits. This is what these corrupt trees don’t want you to know (Matt 7:15-21).
Quit blindly believing these false leaders. Their teachings even pervert the word believing. They teach you that the problem is in your believing or unbelief. Yet, we are told to believe them not. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world (1John 4:1). The whole reason that you don’t believe them and that you do try them is that you are testing prophets for false prophets. They didn’t tell you that, did they? Because they didn’t what to be found out to be the falsies that a test would obviously reveal.
So, Brother Stair told you that you are to try the spirit that’s on YOU. That is a perversion of the word of God so that you believe his lies and that you don’t test him (2Thes 2:11; 1Jn 4:1). The very thing you were told not to do. This is the whole reasoning behind his doctrine of getting a witness. You were told to test the prophets by their fruits (1John 4:1; Matt 7:15-20), not to go to God and get some ethereal witness on them which locks you in and cannot be changed no matter what evil you will eventually find them doing. That’s a false doctrine.
The whole reason for this witness teaching is that they know they’re evil and that their wickedness will eventually be seen, and when it is they put the blame on you for rejecting what God supposedly told (witnessed to) you. Again, that’s clearly a false doctrine that is used by them to hold their power over you and retain their supposed self-proclaimed callings.
They must continue to be Some Great One and this is how they do that, and that is how they deceive you (Acts 8:9). They make themselves out to be in Christ’s stead, they are the mediator between you and God. This is the definition of antichrist. You cannot be saved by rejecting them. Sound familiar? Open your eyes, this is the fulfillment of Matthew 24:5, 24 – For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many (NASB95).
“I am in the similitude of Christ, I stand in Christ’s stead.”
“Except you abide in the ship [Overcomer Farm] you cannot be saved.”
“You either believe the prophet or you’re not gonna be saved.”
“You stay in this place [Overcomer Farm] or you won’t be saved.”
“If you don’t hear me, you won’t hear Jesus.”
“There’s a greater than Jesus Christ today.”

Denial!
Head in the Sand! James Rice expounded on how he doesn’t even want to hear what the ‘others’ have to say because they might move him to believe them. Yeah, the truth has a funny way of making you free (John 8:32; Rom 10:14-15). But only if they first hear the truth. So stay away from it and tell your followers to do the same. Is this the reason there’s no faith at work there? So then faith cometh by hearing (Rom 10:17).
What the bad pastor is doing here is to keep his remaining followers from even giving heed to hearing what the problem is that is dividing the Overcomers. Largely because he is the problem. And he doesn’t want them to gain faith in that reality. Thus he keeps not only himself but his hearers from coming to the knowledge of the truth (2Tim 3:7; 1Tim 2:4) by failing to heed (Lk 11:35; 1Cor 10:12; Mk 13:23; Ps 119:9; Jer 18:19). Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip (Heb 2:1). So, as long as he can keep you from hearing the truth, you will be in bondage to his lies. This is the Devil’s plan, and his ministers promote it (2 Cor 11:15).
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. (Hebrews 3:12)
This censorship is the evidence that you do not have the truth and are believing a lie (2Thes 2:11). If you have the truth you are not afraid of a lie – the truth exposes it. But lies must be protected from the truth because the truth cuts right through them and reveals them to be the lies that they are (Heb 4:12). This is why corrupt leaders practice censorship – like what James Rice is doing here (2Thes 2:4, 10-11). Just as Brother Stair did.
This is the spirit of the age that is all around us today. Notice how James Rice, just like Brother Stair, speaks to cast out those who they don’t want there that are not ‘protecting’ their lies or buying into them. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service (John 16:2).
John identifies these men with the crystal clear accuracy of the sword of the Word (Heb 4:12) when he says, Who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not… prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church (3John 1:9-10). That scripture clearly reveals Brother Stair and Pastor Rice in their words and their deeds – their fruit (Mt 7:20).
Disinformation
This strong delusion of running from the truth that Pastor James Rice is selling you will cause you to be damned. That’s a thus saith the LORD from His book. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2Thes 2:11-12). That’s a verse that every follower of Brother Stair should know. They have heard him abuse it many times to point the finger away from himself as a strong delusion. Now we have Pastor Rice doing the same – and worse when it comes to his perverse relationship with Rose. Doing worse than his father before him (1Kings 15:3, 16:25).
But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
Who hath believed our report? (Rom 10:16)
Truth fears no lie. Lies have to shelter you from the truth so that the lies are not exposed for the lies that they are. Consider that when someone is censoring something because they want you to believe that it’s misinformation. When the reality is that they want to keep you bound to their lies so they do everything they can to keep you from hearing the truth.
Thus they win the war of turning their lies into what you perceive as truth, and then you go further and further to promote and parrot their lies for them. Thus they have you bowing down under the same spirit of the age as they are serving. This mass marketing makes their lies look like they are true – based on the number of people promoting them (Pr 16:5). Don’t overlook the funny paradox of this and Brother Stair’s accursed pandora’s box of ‘many’.
Read Your Bible!
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Pr 3:6 NIV78/RSV). What does that tell us about Brother Stair and Pastor Rice? Where you have crooked paths you have people who do not acknowledge God in all their ways – no matter how they speak to the contrary. They are liars! God’s word is true. God’s word will reveal to you the way these men walk. Read your Bible and depart from these worthless idols (Jonah 2:8 NIV84). Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace (Pr 3:17). Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not Thy law (Ps 119:134).
A people without understanding will come to ruin
