Sabbath Service – July 31, 2021 – Pastor Rice after Service
We have Pastor Rice continuing on in his normal mode and getting in some 53 minutes today. Standard filler of Hallelujahs, singing, and scripture quotes.
“Though the man of god is resting, he’s still working. Though he be dead, he yet speaketh. Will we hear what the spirit says?”
Pretty sure this working the Pastor’s is talking of is not referring to Brother Stair shoveling coal into the furnaces of Hell but since their twisted theology is inferring quite the opposite – they might well consider that picture.
Brother Stair has always spoken death – though he was alive.
Which spirit are ye willing to hear here Pastor? I’m picturing Saul hearing Samuel via the witch of Endor tell him the Lord has turned from you and become your enemy. Furthermore, Overcomers, are you hearing the Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hand, and given it to your neighbor… Because you did not obey the voice of the Lord, and did not carry out his fierce wrath against [the sin in the Prophet/Farm], therefore the Lord has done this thing to you today? (1Sam 28:16-19 NRSV)
Is this speaking of the dead Brother Stair adding Samuel’s words and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me; the Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines? (1Sam 28:16-19 NRSV)
“Okay, let’s try Romans, chapter sixteen.”
Try? Was there something not working with the other verse? Perhaps it was the offending one of these little ones and him being cast into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck that hit home with offensive Brother Stair that he needed a try at Romans.
“Mark them which cause divisions, and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them. For they that are such serve not the Lord Jesus Christ but their own belly. And by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
Yeah, Pastor, that’s not helping your case. You’re clearly marking Brother Stair with those verses. But perhaps that’s the new regime’s MO.
And by good words and fair speeches, deceive the hearts of the simple. Brother Stair desired a simple people and he sold it as if it were a lofty goal for us to attain to. Meanwhile, Scripture teaches that the simple are the ignorant and stupid. Which was his goal so that we were easier to deceive.
The first thing we hear contended against this verse for marking Brother Stair is that he (as he would brag) didn’t have good words or use fair speeches. That’s not a good thing to brag on or try to justify yourself with. Yet, Brother Stair did indeed deceive by good words and fair speeches – Jesus is coming was his favorite. This is what deceived us – his good words.
We were not deceived by his harsh judgmental words. It was his fair words that deceived us. So we see that this verse does mark Brother Stair as the contrary offender. The one that taught doctrine contrary to what we learned and knew was right (Proverbs 19:27-28 TLB). Avoid them!
What all this shows us is the spiritual blindness that they have been given over to. The strong delusion that God has turned them over to, to which they believe these lies and are blind to see the truth about how these scriptures define and identify Brother Stair clearly.
This is because (for this cause) they do not love the truth above all things (2Thes 2:10-12). They love the Prophet more than the truth of God. Therefore they have been given over to believe these lies. It is a work of God – but it’s not a work of God that you want to be a part of.
The one whose coming [Elijah/Malachi Messenger] is in accord with the activity of Satan,
with all power and false signs and wonders,
and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish,
because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.
For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness
(2Thes 2:9-12 NASB)
There’s a people still waiting for the coming of Jesus.
Though these people (and its Pastor) are not preaching this coming as Brother Stair preached it. Their radio listeners believe what Brother Stair said more than they do. They are unwilling to put their neck on the line and say that the Last 45 Days are starting in a few days and Jesus is coming this September at the Feast of Tabernacles. That would be speaking the things that Brother Stair spoke Pastor.
With this action, we can say that they are continuing to walk in the same spirit of Brother Stair in keeping their distance from committing to speaking what they can use (misuse) their listener’s phone calls to say. This way they can cop out and say that “we didn’t say it, they did”. Just like Brother Stair would do.
Amazing how some want God to forget their sins and we remember everyone else’s. That’s hypocritical, isn’t it?
What’s amazing is that the one that is known to do this in the context of the Overcomer Ministry is solely Brother Stair. Yes, Pastor, Brother Stair was hypocritical in this and many other things. Open your eyes people! If not at least open your ears and hear Brother Stair constantly bring up the sins of his people and condemn them for not forgetting his.
As Pastor Rice said, That’s hypocritical!
This sounded more like an elementary school pep talk then a seasoned meat of the Word message. We heard people are miffed at the chore rota. Carrying petty squabbles and grudges. Remember this is the seal of Stair and his legacy. Again no mention of the conundrum Stair left with his last prophecy of going to Jerusalem to get beheaded, and Jesus Coming within 6 months of his death, and the Resurrection of the saints 45 days before. No current mention of the vaccine, mandates or anything the people who send in donations are concerned about daily on the frontlines.They are so insulated from others like monks and nuns at a monastery. Completely oblivious and unaware that we don’t sit and take credit for “still being here” on someone else’s hard earned income. They are quite willing to continue to let others send in money to support them and pay their bills. They missed the admonishment that Jesus gave when He taught he that is greater washes feet. They obviously expect for others to serve them lifelong as they neigh after 1 another’s wife and jockey for position with 1 another in their dying commune. They are those that separate themselves and denied Christ under Stair’s leadership as he set that example, so even in Stair’s death there is a continuance of heresies that will not go away or disappear no matter how many Scriptures they quote, or how many songs they sing.
