Unless Ye Be A Reprobate

Recently Brother Stair aired a caller saying, “You can’t do evil like that [adultery, molesting 14-yo, …] because Christ is in you.” We all know that if Christ were in Brother Stair that he would not behave the way he has been charged and arrested for. If he did he would be in sackcloth and ashes repenting – not justifying himself. The caller makes a good point. You can’t do evil like that IF Christ is in you (Rom 8:10-14). But what the caller doesn’t realize, yet, is that Brother Stair’s fruit tells us clearly that Christ is not in him. This is the only way Jesus told us that we are to know men, especially prophets (Mt 7:15-20).
2 Corinthians 13:5 Says to “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
Brother Stair twists this examination of himself that HE presents to you to bring about 2Cor 13:6 “But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.” To the end that he makes his listeners believe that he is not reprobate. But back to verse 5 which says if you are reprobate then Christ is not in you. So like the caller noted, IF you’re doing reprobate, vile, evil thing – then Christ is not in you.
Illogic Logic
The problem with the caller’s logic is that he has taken it the wrong way around, just like Brother Stair’s followers do. The caller assumed that CERTAINLY Brother Stair would not, could not, be doing such things – because he is in Christ [assumption] – and therefore concluded that all the things, the fruits, of many witnesses were not true.
To go along with this, the same can be said for the man who schools himself under shysters and places himself in the company of wicked men (by his own testimony) then claims to be a man of integrity and of God – that is wholly against scripture (Ps 1:1-6; Ps 5:4-6; Ps 26:4-6; Pr 4:14; Pr 1:15). If you don’t understand that from Proverbs you’d better start reading Proverbs every day.
How Do We Know
Jesus told us that we are not to know a man and then believe whether the fruits seen in him were true or not. We are to know the man BY his fruits (Mt 7:20).
Brother Stair’s intent (and reason for replaying this clip) is for his listeners to think, “For if he had done the evil he was arrested for he would certainly be of a different spirit than what we see now.” This is the deception behind Stair’s justifying himself and his railing on the authorities and everyone else is out to get him – because (naturally) Brother Stair has done no wrong. For IF he had done anything like in deep repentance. Thus the intent of that deception is fulfilled in Brother Stair’s standing up and waxing worse and worse in his railings and accusations against those who left him because of his sins and even still targeting those few who remain to keep them in fear and submissive. As the intent of this deception is to keep his financial supporters believing in the Prophet and rejecting everything they hear from the 99% of the witnesses that know him and what the authorities know. Some examples of how Bro Stair doesn’t want anyone to mention what he is doing in prayer and why he sends all the brothers into the fields and why he’s late in prayer is told here.
Spirit of Reprobate
It is by this strong-arm harsh brazen Jezebel spirit that Brother RG Stair convinces his listeners (those in radio land) that he has done no evil (Pr 30:20). But his viewers – those that live, or lived, with him; those that witness his deeds – they know the evils he commits. They know his wicked deeds because they witness them every day (2Pt 2:7-9). This is the truth he hides this from his radio audience because they are his financial supporters.
Psalm 94:23 Tells us that the Lord will wipe out the wicked in their own iniquity and their own wickedness. We are seeing the beginning of this manifestation upon the Brother Stair and his Overcomer Ministry. His pit [of corruption] is being dug (Ps 94:13).
Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
(Psalm 94:3-5, 7)
