In the Fall Feasts Services, here is the Overcomer Ministry Feast of Tabernacles Services from Sunday, October 16th at 6 PM from the Dining Hall. These are expected to run till Sunday the 16th.
Sukkot, Feast of Booths, for Hebrew Year 5783 began on Sunday, 9 October 2022, and ends at nightfall on Sunday, 16 October 2022.
Don’t talk to these people.
Don’t let them talk to you. Just leave ’em alone.
What we witness here is the spirit of error. Jesus never gave this command, in fact, He said the opposite. And Jesus was talking about going to the world. Here we have Pastor Rice commanding his followers to not talk to fellow brothers and sisters that they live with. Such wickedness.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another (John 13:34-35) This is not the commandment that Pastor Rice gave today to his disciples.
Pastor Rice does this because he fears the truth getting into those who listen to what the others have to say. If he had the truth then he would not fear lies but lies always fear the truth and censor the truth. That’s the spirit of the age.
He can put all the scripture out that seems to justify him (like Brother Stair would do) but that doesn’t make him on the side of truth. He’s said that he’s already lost several to their side so now he’s gone into damage control mode and cursing and damning them – just like Brother Stair did.
This is a bunch of foolishness.
Like Brother Stair, Pastor Rice is making this issue his whole message. That’s the only thing we are hearing about from James Rice over the last many months. All things Overcomer continue as they were.
It’s not for edification.
Indeed this whole putrid discourse is not for education. James Rice pours out slander and tells of people he’s targeting his people against while he says that he’s not talking about it or telling it about. This is wickedness justifying its wickedness – the worst kind of wickedness. Talking about strengthening the body while he tears it down with his own hands. Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands (Pr 14:1).
A Sermon About Deception
This message from Bruce Hall covers what is going on at the Overcomer Ministry now and in the past. This will expose the lie! Open your eyes to the truth. The Devil binds your mind.
(Psalms 127:1).
What we witness here is that same spirit that was on Brother Stair that desired exaltation. He had to have the preeminence – but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not (3Jn 1:9). It wasn’t enough for him to just preach the word (not that he did, he just said he did as he sowed discord) but he had to have worship from everyone or he was upset with everyone. This is what we are witnessing in Pastor James Rice as he operates in the same evil spirits as Brother Stair was controlled by.
But [Rice], who loves to be first among them, does not accept what we say. For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with malicious words; and not satisfied with this, he himself does not receive the brothers either, and he forbids those who want to do so and puts them out of the church. [“Get the Hell out!”] Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does what is good is of God; the one who does what is evil has not seen God. (3John 1:9-11 NASB)
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the Grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying… (Jude 1:4)
