The lips of the righteous bring forth what is acceptable,
But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted
[obstinately willful and contrary]

(Proverbs 10:32  NASB95 [AMPC])

The mouth of the evil man is filled with curses
(Proverbs 10:11  TLB)

They scoff at God and threaten His people.  How proudly they speak!
And so God’s people are dismayed and confused and drink it all in.
(Psalm 73:8, 10  TLB;  Proverbs 9:12)

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
  (Proverbs 22:24-25)

The evil man pours out his evil words without a thought.  The Lord is far from the wicked.  The Lord hates the thoughts of the wicked(Proverbs 15:28, 29, 26  TLB)

These are just the Highlights from the first part of the Passover 2019 Service at the Overcomer Ministry Tabernacle with Brother Stair preaching on April 20th, 2019.  His last two years on this side of eternity to repent and get right with God.  Yet we witness a man that has not only waxed worse and worse over the last 20 years but in his very last years, his rage at God’s people and his sexual perversion were exceptionally exposed to all (Pr 26:26, 24:20).  Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy (Rev 22:11  NASB95).  Brother Stair made it clear to all as to which side of this he stood – and fell  (Ecc 11:3;  Pr 16:18).

This audio clip of Brother Stair is excerpts ordered as they occurred, without repeats – and this is only the first third of the Service.

What we witness here is James 3:6 – the tongue defileth the whole body (of Christ) and setteth on fire…, and it is set on fire of Hell.  A perfect display of Psalm 35:16, 21 – With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.  Yea, they opened their mouth wide against Me.

Ask Yourself:

(In accordance with obeying God in Testing the Spirits as instructed in 1 John 4:1.)

  • Are these words a well of life?  (John 10:10)
    • No?
      • Then they are not from the mouth of a righteous man (Pr 10:11, 15:4).
  • Is this the tongue of health?  Is it using knowledge aright
    • No?
      • Then it’s not from the wise (Pr 12:18, 15:2).
  • Is this a tongue with perverseness thereinWillful contrariness (Pr 15:4  KJV/AMPC)?
  • is this a gentle tongue?
  • Are these pleasant wordsSweet to the soulHealth to the bones?  (Pr 16:24)
    • No?
      • Then it’s no wonder the bones are dry (Pr 16:24).
  • Are these Hateful words the reason for the unrest that is constantly on display at the Overcomer?
    • Yes, according to scripture it is.
      • Hatred stirreth up strifes.  Hatred stirs up dissension (Pr 10:12  KJV/NIV78).  The mouth of a fool invites ruin.  A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct (Pr 10:14, 23  NIV78)
      • A violent man entices his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.  He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.  (Pr 16:29)
  • Is this the kind of attitude and speech that God hates?
    • Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate  (Pr 8:13).
    • Lying lips are abomination to the LORD  (Pr 12:22).
    • The evil man pours out his evil words without a thought.  The Lord is far from the wicked.  The Lord hates the thoughts of the wicked  (Proverbs 15:28, 29, 26  TLB).
    • The LORD detests all the proud of heart (Pr 16:5  NIV78).
    • The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth  (Ps 34:16).
    • For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with Thee.  The foolish shall not stand in Thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity  (Psalm 5:4-5).
  • Is this a David whose tongue speaks God’s righteousness and God’s praise (Ps 35:28)?
    • In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God (1Jn 3:10).
    • This is the one who claims his life is patterned after David and adds that David had four wives.  Do you wonder what he’s after?  It’s not the righteousness of God.
  • Is this the reason that the Overcomer Community is so fragmented and 99% left?  Why the bones are dry?  Why there is so much discord and strife?
    • Indeed!  All this pointing of the finger that it’s the fault of the house and not the leader is not going to fix the problem of the destroyer (Ps 34:13, 16, 21).
      • Wisdom builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down  (Pr 14:1  RSV).
      • If you remove the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger and malicious talk (Isa 58:9  NKJV;  Pr 14:25).
  • Does not Proverbs clearly define the man that walketh with a froward mouth to be a naughty person, and a wicked man?  (Pr 6:12-15, 16:27)
    • Yes!
      • Then you’ve learned a sample of how to Test the Spirits, now apply it to the man (1Jn 4:1).

Bro Stair - A wicked man hardeneth his face (Pr 21:29)
A wicked man hardeneth his face, stares into space, planning his evil deeds (Pr 21:29, 16:30 TLB)

You can see from just these few references that God’s Word has a lot to say about words and their effects on you and the health of your spirit and the body, especially the body of Christ.

Why then should we be surprised that so many died away from such a ministry?  [99%]  Or the manifestation of these fruits (Mt 7:20) that is clearly witnessed there in that so many have physically died there?  This is a ministry of death (2 Corinthians 3:7-9;  John 10:10).  Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Prov 18:21).  Brother Stair has used his tongue for death, and death has been the consistent enduring fruit of his Overcomer Ministry.  Both in spiritual and physical death (Pr 7:26-27).

The following scriptures are here to warn us to turn away from such men, and what will happen to us if we don’t.  We must heed God’s Word and love truth – otherwise, we will be turned over to the strong delusion of believing the lies of Brother Stair – and thus, you will be damned (2Thes 2:10-12;  Pr 9:18).

From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matt 12:34;  Luke 6:45).  As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.  As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.  Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually (Psalm 109:17-19).

Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lipsAbove all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].  (Pr 4:24, 23 NIV84;  Pr 18:21 AMPC)

They return at evening, they howl like a dog,
and go around the city.
Behold, they belch forth with their mouth;
swords are in their lips, for,
they say, “Who hears?”
(Psalm 36:1-4  NASB)

Do not enter the path of the wicked and do not proceed in the way of evil people.Wrong Way RG

Avoid it, do not pass by it;
Turn away from it and pass on.

For they cannot sleep unless they do evil; and they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.  For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

Rid yourself of a deceitful mouth and keep devious speech far from you (Proverbs 4:14-17, 24  NASB).

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul
(Prov 22:24-25).

Flee from Babylon! [confusion]  Save yourselves!  Don’t get trappedIf you stay, you will be destroyed when God takes his vengeance on all of Babylon’s sins (Jer 51:6  TLB).

Leave simpleness, and live, and walk in the way of insight (Proverbs 9:6  RSV).

Though his hatred covers itself with guile,
his wickedness shall be shown openly before the assembly.
(Proverbs 26:26  AMPC)

So their pride sparkles like a jeweled necklace, and their clothing is woven of cruelty!
They scoff at God and threaten His people.  How proudly they speak!
They boast against the very heavens, and their words strut through the earth.

And so God’s people are dismayed and confused and drink it all in.
(Psalm 73:6-10  TLB)
