To clarify [not to trap], if you didn’t know who Brother Stair was talking about (at 1h:42m in the Service clip) with David that was supposed to take Bathsheba so that he could impregnate her with his promised seed – Brother Stair was talking about himself as David and Dennis’ wife Rose (who now lives with Brother Stair) as Bathsheba.  Here’s the clip.  [Now there’s a Trap that has been set – but it wasn’t by us]

This clip shows how Brother Stair teaches that God turns a blind eye to the covenant of marriage.  How Brother Stair limits the Holy One to be able to do anything other than what He did (Ps 78:41).  It shows how Brother Stair picks and chooses what he wants from this story (as with all others) and ignores God’s judgment upon David for this sin (2Sam 12:10-11). 

This clip shows how Brother Stair even perverts the words of Nathan – Nathan didn’t say you could have had any woman [even Bathsheba].  Nathan said nothing about women.  He said if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things (2Sam 12:8).  Those words of “any woman” have been made up in Brother Stair’s unspiritual mind.  Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? (2Sam 12:9)  That’s what was actually said. 

We should also wonder why this doesn’t apply to all the other brothers on the Farm???  Plus, is Brother Stair telling us that he is leaving all the other women alone and only having his sexual excursions with Dennis’s wife?  That’s not the story we’re hearing – is it?

Let’s take this teaching out to its fulness or meaning:  Your wife is probably not the one you’re destined for.  So go find a beautiful woman, nearby, and as long as you can get her husband to agree to let you “fool around” with her – it’s alright with God.  Nay, it’s ordained by God.  Isn’t that what we call a swinger?  This is certainly a teaching to Overcome Her.

Brother Stair asks the question here; why didn’t God keep me from the lust [love] of women [from the adultrous]?  Proverbs tells us why – he that is abhorred of the LORD [cursed or under the LORD’s wrath] shall fall therein (Pr 22:14).  Perhaps this was also because of God’s hatred for the perverted (froward) mouth (Pr 8:13, 36)?

The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men. (Pr 12:8  NIV84)

Brother Stair has had many Nathan’s tell him “You’re the man!” throughout the last several decades, and he’s ignored every one of them.  Then either cast them out or they left because Bro Stair didn’t repent of it.

Another witness on this (and there are many) is in Proverbs 7; “He does not know that it will cost him his life.  Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, and pay attention to the words of my mouth.  Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not stray into her paths.  For many are the victims she has cast down, and numerous are all her slain.  Her house is the way to Sheol, descending to the chambers of death“ (Pr 7:23-27 NASB).  This has been the life and times of Brother Stair.

The reasons for his wandering and walking in lust are because he didn’t follow the admonition of scripture and walk in God’s ways (Ps 1:1-6;  Ps 15:1-5;  Pr 7:24;  Pr 22:17;  Pr 8:32-36) and the many other warnings and guides of Proverbs that went unheeded in Brother Stair’s life. 

Or perhaps he never got saved right as is one of his phrases.  Wisdom and Understanding cry out, particularly to the sons of men (Pr 8:1, 4).  You would think that one claiming to be the son of man would be taking heed to what is being said here.

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise,
And apply your mind to my knowledge;
For it will be pleasant if you keep them within you,
That they may be ready on your lips.
So that your trust may be in the Lord,
I have taught you today, even you.
(Prov 22:17-19 NASB)
