Yom Kippur and why it is ignored by Brother Stair
In the Old Testament, Yom Kippur is the most important Day of the year, the High Holy day, the Sabbath of Sabbaths, the Day of Atonement. So why is it ignored and random Feast Days made viable to Brother Stair?
Could it be because it deals with Fasting, Sexual abstinence, and the forgiveness of Sins – all things we know Brother Stair does not give up.
As a ministry that focuses on the Old Testament, the Overcomer Ministry uses only what benefits its use. The Feast Days offer a time of Gathering since there are no longer any Gatherings or meetings on the road, the Feast Days offer Brother Stair a way to get new people in to replace those who have left.
Just days before Yom Kippur we had several days of services over the Feast of Trumpets as a means to scout for and obtain new workers and sexual partners. These days came over the weekend so it was easier for people to visit, Yom Kippur is in the middle of the week this year and would be a hassle for visitors. Then it would be stretched out for days, leading into the weekend and Sabbath Services, and be so much longer than just doing the Feast of Trumpets.
Yom Kippur for us today, if it is not kept, is to reflect upon and realize what Christ has done for us and in us to provide atonement for our sins and through His spirit within us to deliver us from the desire sin. For a ministry to focus away from the deliverance of sins in the flesh, is a ministry that is likely ministering TO the flesh.
Consider, be Aware!
