Love for the Prophet

“Because thou hast left thy first love…” (Rev 2:4)

[Someone telling you to “get back to” a love, is telling you who your first love was for.  Who here is replacing Jesus as your first love? ]

Cursed is the man who puts his trust in mortal man and turns his heart away from God (Jer 17:5 TLB)
