Sabbath Service – March 19, 2005 – Bro Stair

An older service showing how Services were different – even then. Sister Anderson would play the organ rather than the wailing session we have today. Sister Teresa (his then-wife) would play piano and we would all sing. It was like a real service. But one sinner destroyeth much good (Ecc 9:18).
Though even by this time (less than three years out of jail) Bro Stair had already departed from his holiness preaching and the next year would proclaim that he preaches another gospel. He still spoke of holiness (like in his closing prayer) by you can see his demeanor here that has now waxed worse and worse to what we have today.
Even by this time, there was so much change that Brother Stan spoke to him that he’s got to stop perverting the word of God [Bro Stair spoke of this at 41:45 in this message]. And that his stories, like Simon of Cyrene, departed from Scripture. So we see that we knew there was already a turning away from the word of God in Bro Stair. Brother Stan spoke of this in more detail in one of his messages.
Yet even at this time, Bro Stair could pray a nice prayer – something we do not witness anymore. Nor is the Prayer Time the time to pray WITH the prophet, as he would pray over the air – as he started it for. Now he prowls and preys on the people if he does come into the Tabernacle.
But you will also hear his prayers of manipulation here that he uses to invoke fear and dread that you challenge or come against him. You know the type – let it be known that I am Your prophet… This is not what prayer is for. This is what is called witchcraft – not Christian prayer. Casting spells, as Sister Andrea said.
This was from early 2005, just before Bro Stair excommunicated Brother Charles and several Brothers left without warning. As we were all afraid of confronting Bro Stair about leaving. His feigned humbled demeanor just years earlier because of his sins coming out had turned into full-blown domination and condemnation. So some Brothers just walked away quietly – and the seer had no idea it was going on.
The first 30 minutes are music and singing.
“The whole house is sick, from the head. The head has been healed.” Brother Stair says misquoting Isaiah 1:5. Brother Stair justifies himself that he’s been healed (repented) and he’s not the problem anymore. But if the body is still sick (not the house as he misquoted)… then the head is not healed (repented). This is also why their hearts are faint (as is does say in Isa 1:5).
Jesus made it clearer; when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness (Lk 11:34). The eye (the seer, the prophet, is evil – thus the body is in darkness. As we now witness was and is still the case. Showing us all that he did not repent and won’t repent now.
From then to now there are few, very few left.
The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost;
but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. (Ezekiel 34:4)
That’s quite revealing.
