Today Pastor Rice has finally manned up enough to make a few declarations which are sure to be startling to some. To some who are expecting Jesus to show up in September, this will come as a shock to see their good pastor diverging from the only words of Brother Stair that they are still holding onto.

Then, as usual, we go into The Prophecy. This time it’s the 1987 Prophecy with Brother Stair’s intro. He declares in this intro that it was given in 1988 – which it wasn’t – Brother Stair even states it’s 1987 in the Prophecy. We have covered the reason for this before, but quickly, it was a way that he could extend it to distance it away from being so obviously false. Because its declarations state that the things contained therein were to happen that year. If there is one person and one people that this prophecy describes in its list of sins – it’s Brother Stair and what he turned the Overcomer Ministry into.
Study that 1987 Prophecy and all his others. If you’re a follower of Brother Stair then you should certainly study those prophecy’s to see them from all sides and from a distance. The one major thing that is going to stand out is that they focus on Brother Stair – not on God. They merely use God as the hammer that is focusing us on His servant – namely Brother Stair. Find any prophecy in scripture that does so.
Another thing to note is Pastor Rice’s continuing in the spirit of the lies that Brother Stair was under. He says in the interruptions in the broadcast that they are in Walterboro, SC – they are not. This is a lie and one that is there to inform the elect that this is the place of him that knoweth not God (Job 18:21). Which was even a clip that Brother Stair made up and aired in the mid-2000s.
It went like this: Alexander Scourby quoting Job 18:21 “this is the place of him that knoweth not God“. Then adding WWCR’s top-of-the-hour announcement “This is the Overcomer Ministry”. Giving us “This is the place of him that knoweth not God. This is the Overcomer Ministry.” He would run this in a loop several times. Likely in his underhanded manipulation as a backslap to us but what Bro Stair failed to see is that verse says him (not he or they) him that knoweth not God. And whose place is the Overcomer Ministry? Of those who he kicked out or fled? No! It’s the place of Brother Stair. He makes all the rules and gets all the jewels. Surely such is the dwelling of an evil man (Job 18:21 NIV; 2Thes 1:8). Because of the wicked in rule (Pr 29:2, 28:12), it has become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird (Rev 18:2).
Interesting that a prerequisite for moving to the Community was a list of 10 rules as if to mimic the 10 Commandments. This was done to strip away everything every man, woman and child had and leave them bereft. In the event there was gross wrongdoing by the one people there lift up in place of Christ, the ones who sacrificed all were the ones who left with nothing. The only debate comes from those who would rule by constraint which means coercion in the dictionary. We are instructed to eschew evil which means avoid in the dictionary. I would be remiss in my conscience and understanding of Scripture to continue to exalt a man who couldn’t give 1 prophecy that ever came to pass. A man who couldn’t keep his mind and body pure from lasciviousness, or keep his marriage vow. A man who took from others and added it to his own financial assets. A man who stated if he wasn’t martyred in Jerusalem by the Pope and instead died an ordinary death then throw away everything he said as a lie. A man who said if Jesus didn’t come by the year 2000 he would tell God to go to hell. There are those there that know of these things but don’t love the truth, but instead love a lie.
