They Delayeth His Coming

Part 3

Of They Delayeth His Coming series

Take Heed

Take heed that no man deceive you (Luke 21:8;  Matt 24:4-5).  Wherein have the Overcomers taken this heed?  They have not, nor will they because they believe that they are immune to deception.  Therein is their deception.  They are taught (programmed ) that to question the prophet is to question God – and you dare not do that.

Says who?  Not the Bible. God says to Test Me (Mal 3:10  Berean Study Bible).  But Brother Stair has perverted us so that we will not dare be a Berean and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true (Acts 17:11  BSB).

The False Witness

Brother Stair has sold us on getting a witness from God on him so that you will never question him after you see his wicked fruits manifest.  This witness does not come from God – it is a false witness.  Why?  Because God’s word is clear on how you get a witness on a man and especially on a prophet.  We are instructed to test the spirits of the prophets (1Jn 4:1).

This is not God giving you a witness, this is the witness coming from the fruit of the prophet (1Jn 4:1).  The opposite of what Brother Stair teaches.  Jesus makes this same point in Matthew 7 when He said, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolvesYe shall know them by their fruitsWherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (Matt 7:15-16, 20).  Jesus (nor any other scripture) ever told you that God gives you a witness that locks you in to someone.

The Word’s Witness

The Holy Spirit beareth witness that we are the children of God – He does not bear witness that anyone else is a child of God (Rom 8:16).  We know others by their fruits.  This is why love is a sign that everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God (1Jn 4:7-8), love is fruit.  That’s John right after he told us to, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God (1Jn 4:1).  Why would you be instructed to test the spirits if God gives you a witness?

The Old Testament speaks the same witness and is much paralleled in Paul’s instructions to the New Testament church.  Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge (1Cor 14:29  NKJV).  The church is to be the judge of the prophet’s words.  In the O.T. God says The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream (Jer 23:28  NKJV).  God didn’t specify that prophets had to be called by Him.  But if they are not hearing from God they are going to get declared by the people to be false prophets.  Their validity was in what they spoke coming to pass – as judged by the people, not by the prophet (Deut 18:22;  Pr 16:2, 20:6).

God makes a strong point about His people (un-spirit filled) making a judgment on the prophets when He threw in this curve ball to test us.  If the sign given by a prophet comes to pass and he then tells you to follow other gods [like perhaps themselves] then you shall not listen to the words of that prophet (Deut 13:1-3  NASB).  Because the LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul (Deut 13:3).  Therefore loving the prophet vs. loving God is a test.  Take heed!

The Spirit of Error

This is a major error in the Church today.  They take anything and everything that smells spiritual, any seeming miracles, signs, or dreams, and they automatically take them as being from God.  They do not test them.  Meanwhile, these religious shysters are turning God’s people away from Him unto false divinations, occult William Branham’s, barking like dogs, last day messiah’s, revelations that they alone can reveal, and on and on it goes.  Every Thus saith the Lord gets their attention and applause.

Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ
does not have God;
Take heed
unto thyself, and unto the doctrine;
continue in them:
for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself,
and them that hear thee.

(2John 1:9  NIV;  1Tim 4:16)

I am against the prophets,… who use their tongues and say, ‘He [God] says.’ and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send themthey shall not profit this [Overcomer] people at all. Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless (Jer 23:31-32, 16  NKJV).

It doesn’t get much clearer than what God said in Deuteronomy 18:21-22.  ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously.  You need not be afraid of him  (Deut 18:21-22  ESV).  God doesn’t offer some elaborate getting a witness on the prophet – No!  His own words will sentence him and the people will be his judge.

This censorship of truth that these deceivers practice with their followers should have warned us to flee from them long ago (Eph 5:11;  1Cor 6:18;  Jude 1:4).  Now we are faced with their followers practicing censorship on their fallen leaders.  All in the name of saving their own flesh (Gal 6:13;  Isa 49:26).

What is going out over the broadcast today is error upon error (Isa 28:10).  To lie upon Brother Stair’s lies doesn’t make them truth.

Who controls the past controls the future.
Who controls the present controls the past.

(George Orwell, 1984)

Knowing This First of All

They [are saying],  “Where is this ‘coming’ [Brother Stair] promised?  Ever since our [prophet] died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of [the Overcomer] (2Peter 3:4  NIV).  Now they have to figure out what to do to continue on amidst his failed prophecies.

Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, speaking of the coming of the Lord Jesus (2Pt 3:3  NASB95).  Here, in a nutshell, Peter identifies Brother Stair’s ministry.  The mocker who followed his sexual appetites and used the coming of Jesus to disguise them.  This is why all his words have failed – because he was a liar from the beginning (John 8:44).

Related:  About Us

The witness of the witness Brother Stair is that he was a man that chose not to deny himself his lusts.  Even when faced with hardships he refused to repent of his ways.  This was clearly evident to us when he went to jail for his sex crimes and feigned repentance (2Cor 7:10) only to come out with an iron fist and lord it over us with a greater yoke of slavery (1Pt 5:3).  This same game was played on every subsequent judgment of God upon him – to no avail.  He simply waxed worse and worse as seen in his last day’s Services.

He would not deny himself.  He indulged himself and saved his own lusts.  This was his sad end to his sad choice of beginnings.  If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it…  For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? (Luke 9:23).

But there were false prophets also among the people,… who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destructionAnd many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken ofAnd through covetousness shall they with feigned words [feigned repentance] make merchandise of you (2Peter 2:1-3).

A truthful witness saves lives,
but one who utters lies is a betrayer.
(Proverbs 14:25  RSV)
