Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:  And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.  And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;  But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:  Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. 

And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.  
This is the interpretation of the thing:

Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

God Hath Numbered Thy Kingdom and Finished It

Today we finally see this being fulfilled in the Overcomer Ministry.  Because of Brother Stair’s turning away from repentance not only throughout his life but significantly through his exposure in 2001 for adultery and rape.  Where he has had 17 years to turn around, yet instead has waxed worse and worse, showing by this fruit what he is.  Thus God used a 16-year old to bring him back to the jailhouse and to trial again.

Thou Art Weighed in the Balances and Art Found Wanting

Last time (2001), Brother Stair lost more than 50% of his Community and 80% of his satellite communities – and untold numbers of his radio listeners and financial supporters.  This time (2017), he lost his local River Community by excommunicating them for not going along with his sexual agenda.  Of which Bro Stair is still waiting for THEM to repent of. 

This casting out of the River was a beginning of God weighing Brother Stair and his reactions to Biblical confrontation of his sins.  Of which he’s failed miserably.  The only satellite Community he has left is Grace Community in Oklomah under Pastor James Rice.  When Bro Stair was arrested in 2017 he lost most of his Community, his chief men, most of his listeners (financial supporters), and as previously stated the River Community.

The balances were tipping to their breaking point with Bro Stair’s exposure in his Sabbath Service on his YouTube channel.  He couldn’t see that the actions that he thought were legit were abdominal to those with Christ in them.  This began the falling away of his radio listeners who were now viewers, seeing first hand what the “improper responding” congregation (as they had heard Bro Stair call them for years) already knew. 

Thy Kingdom is Divided and Given to Your Enemies

It was the YouTube video from 16-year old Natosha that brought his house of cards down on him.  Which also brought the authorities down on him and the viral video caused the drop in funds for the radio broadcast.  Thus Bro Stair had to drop the radio and shortwave stations at the end of 2017. 

In Feb 2018 His website stated, “Due to legal difficulties, as of January 1st, 2018, the Overcomer Ministry will not be broadcasting on AM/FM radio and Shortwave.”  Brother Stair now sells a different story (lie) as to why he cut back and went off the radio.  The same radio he’s now working on getting back on. 

The story that he sold when the stations were dropping him like the hot potato he is, was that the times have changed and now he was to only go to the lost sheep (which is the same thing he’s always said) and that he would never go back on the radio like before.  That time is over.  Reminds us of the Overcomer Ministry Termination he broadcast on 15 October 2009.  Same as it ever was.

Brother Stair now faces his trial before a Grand Jury which then goes to a full jury Trial.  Bro Stair has lawyered up with one of the best and highest-paid (much like he did in 2002) lawyers in South Carolina.  Jack Swerling is so good he could get the Devil off.  Super Lawyer Jack Swerling is known as Mr. Murder because he is so good at setting murders and rapists free.  Brother Stair is thinking that this will allow him to escape God’s judgment.

In all this, Brother Stair has not shown (perhaps feigned a bit) any repentance of remorse for his sins against Natosha, the many others that have come forward, the River’s refusal of his groping the sisters there, his own congregation, none of it.  He went quickly back to blasting his congregation and those that left him for his unrepentant behavior as wrong, damned, or worse. 

He’s trying to ease himself back on the radio because that’s his only source of money.  Money that he now desperately needs for his lawyers’ fees.  His broadcast has gone to airing old archives of messages that are contrary to his current beliefs but he knows it’s what will pull in listeners, and regurgitating Internet videos with sensational content – it’s bait. 

Brother Stair needs these mainline listeners to support the broadcast… and the legal fees.  So the old leaving the radio has transformed into asking for support to pay for time on stations lest they pull him.  Reminds us of the Overcomer Ministry Termination he broadcast on 15 October 2009.  Which we also pointed out 10 years later in The End of Brother Stair’s Ministry and Radio Broadcast.
