Brother Stair believes he has Freedom TO Sin

Holiness Unto the Lord…

Up until the 2001 discovery that Brother Stair was constantly walking in the sin of adultery, which tore apart his then Community of believers to half what it was. [at present, more than 95% of those have fled, his wife, daughter, and all the 12 satellite communities have also left]  Brother Stair was preaching holiness, righteousness, and repentance unto God.  A holiness of the flesh.  That we could walk without sin in this life.  Sanctification.  Brother Stair taught that he was doing just that.

Brother Stair taught that he was without sin in the flesh.

Then The Revelation came…

Brother Stair was found to be practicing adultery for as far back as his ministry goes.  You might say, sex was the reason he got into the ministry.  It certainly is in every background story Brother Stair tells about his ‘schooling’ (Ps 1:1, 4-6).  It’s his testimony that he was going to church for girls, not God when he ran out and subsequently ‘got saved’ – or so the story goes.

The lie of sinlessness was exposed, so repentance was then preached and we believed Brother Stair to be ushering in an era of repentance after his exposure.  So, half or his Community followers stayed on in hopes of finally seeing righteousness work in the Community, and not the beatings.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses,
and lead captive silly women
laden with sins,
led away with divers lusts,
ever learning, and never able
to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(2Tim 3:5-7)

Brother Stair then taught that ‘God made him sin so that God could show the Church that it was in spiritual adultery’ and that we needed to repent.  So what Brother Stair started teaching, to justify himself, is that his sin was to bring about grace for the church (Rom 6:1).  Thus God needed Brother Stair to sin to show us, the Church, our sin of spiritual adultery.  Thus Brother Stair’s fleshly sin didn’t matter to God (Ps 14:1).  That’s pretty much what the people of Sodom and Gomorrah thought too (2Pt 2:6-7;  Jude 1:7-8, 15-16).

Thus began the browbeating over our Iniquity.  Making iniquity anything ambiguous that could be laid upon the rest of us to make our unidentifiable ambiguous spiritual sins the focus.  To focus our attention away from Brother Stair’s active fleshly sexual sins – which were not iniquity.  You hear this in every Service.

The Sign is Magnified

In this, Brother Stair, in essence, is teaching that he is the Messiah of Isaiah 53:4-6: Brother Stair was despised and we didn’t careYet it was our grief Brother Stair bore, our sorrows that weighed Brother Stair down.  And we thought Brother Stair’s troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins!  But Brother Stair was wounded and bruised for our sins.  Brother Stair was beaten that we might have peace; Brother Stair was lashed—and we were healed!  We—every one of us—have strayed away like sheep!  We, who left God’s paths to follow our own [iniquity].  Yet God laid on Brother Stair the guilt and sins of every one of us!  (Isa 53:4-6  TLB)  This is the way we are to take what happened and why Brother Stair went to jail and is even now under confinement – it’s for the sins of the Church, the iniquitous saints.  Because naturally he himself had done no wrong and had never spoken an evil word (Isa 53:9  TLB).

It’s also to be taken as in Ezekiel 12 where the prophet is told to bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even [evening] in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity. (Eze 12:4)  Because we’re a rebellious house that Brother Stair is living in (Eze 12:2).  Though his arrest didn’t happen at all like what God told Ezekiel, that doesn’t matter, all that matters is that we receive that we’re the rebellious house and that the prophet was taken away to captivityfor our sins.  Thus the Prophet can then declare I am your Sign. (Eze 12:11).

The Changing of the Grace

Brother Stair now teaches that ‘The flesh is going to sin, just let it do what it wants.’  Perverting the grace spoken of in Romans 6:1, by forgetting Romans 6:2 – and certainly 1John 3:8.  What we have here is a certain man spoken of in Jude; For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ (Jude 1:4).  Men who deny that these lascivious sins are what cost Jesus His life (Jude 1:18-19)

Now, Brother Stair has turned the teaching of grace into, grace to forgive the sins of the flesh.  Grace is now a license to sin (Rom 6:1;  1John 3:8).  Because we’re not going to be perfect or holy until Jesus comes and transforms us.  Whatever happened to Jesus returning for a spotless bride (Eph 5:27;  Jude 1:24)?  And on what ground is Brother Stair stand on to make the claim that the Overcomer Ministry is the perfecting ministry?  Remember that Brother Stair still states his purpose as for the perfecting of the saints.  Yet this perfection has for all intents and purposes been cast aside.  All except for the purpose of keeping his financial supporters in the deception that the wrathful anger they hear coming from his mouth is bringing about this perfecting (Pr 18:6-8;  Jude 1:10, 13).

This new teaching on grace is because Brother Stair is blatantly walking in sexual sin daily on his Farm.  So, rather than repenting and stopping his sinning, Brother Stair teaches that sin does not matter to God.   He even takes it as far as saying that God needs us to sin. (Rom 6:1).  John would beg to differ, “He that committeth sin is of the devil” (1John 3:8).  Further, if sin doesn’t matter – then what is Brother Stair opening his mouth for in the first place?  All he does is blast people for their gnat sins while he wallows in his camel sins (Mt 23:24;  Pr 26:11).  Teaching that all sins are the same out of one side of his mouth (one fork of his tongue), then teaching that your ambiguous iniquities are worse than his fleshly adultery out of the other side (fork).

Has the Prophet of God forgotten that it is the sins of the flesh that are bringing about the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience? (Col 3:5-6;  Eph 5:5-7)  Specifically, sexual sins, as Jesus attested to in Revelation as to what corrupted two churches by their leaders that were prophets.  The people there held to the teachings of the prophet or tolerated them (Rev 2:14-15;  Rev 2:20-21).

This is actually not a completely new teaching from Brother Stair, he has been turning this direction since his 2002 revealing.  It’s just that now the gate is fully open and in the last few years, he’s been waxing worse and worse at a rate far exceeding his previous slide down the ditch (2Tim 3:13;  Pr 23:27).  What else would we expect from teaching that is denying the Lord that bought him? (2Pt 2:1)  He has brought this destruction upon himself (2Pt 2:1;  Pr 18:3;  Jude 1:7-8, 10-11, 13, 15-16).

Brother Stair believes he has Freedom To Sin

The Problem Is…

Brother Stair can teach what he wants, but this teaching does not line up with the railing he does on his congregation for their supposed sins just so he can mask his own.  If sin is natural and expected and allowed – then why rail on the Church about their petty gnats while you’re stroking your camel? (Mt 23:24;  Pr 18:4)  Apparently, the only one who gets to let the flesh do what it’s going to do is Brother Stair and those he wants to do it with (Rom 6:1;  Rom 1:32).  Actually, the reason Brother Stair still preaches against his ‘wicked‘ congregations supposed sins is to appear to his financial supporters that he is still preaching holiness and walking without sin.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  As the

Ask yourself, why does his congregations’ faces tell us a different story than what Brother Stair is saying.  It is Brother Stair, after all, that is telling us that his congregation is not buying what he’s saying.  Why is that?  And if this is the perfecting ministry – that Brother Stair claims it is – where is anyone who has met his approval?  Why is the whole (99%) of this ministry end in them fleeing or casting them out (ex-communication)? (Jn 6:39;  Jer 23:1-3;  Jn 17:12;  2Pt 2:7-9  Jn 18:9)  Is the end fruit of this ministry life or death?  (John 10:10)  The answer to that will tell us everything.  Something to think about.

Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not:
whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him,
neither known Him.
Little children,
let no man [Brother Stair] deceive you:
he that doeth righteousness is righteous,
even as He is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil;
for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God

In this the children of God are manifest,
and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.  (1John 3:6-10)

Brother Stair's Gospel does not Confront Sin

Since the gospel Brother Stair preaches is proudly not Christ’s gospel – does it matter?
