Love Chapter

Like Jesus, Satan also asks his ministers this question, “Do you love me?” (Jn 21:15-17;  2Cor 11:14-15).  To their positive response, he responds, “Then beat God’s sheep” (Cf. Jn 21:17;  Rev 13:7).  This is the telling difference between the ministers of God and the ministers of Satan  (2Cor 11:14-15;  Mt 7:20;  Gal 5:19-21;  2Tim 3:1-5).  Satan is defined in scripture as the accuser of the brethren [God’s people] (Zech 3:1;  Rev 12:10).  His new name Satan means “the adversary” or “the accuser.”

So where you see ministers who are accusing and resisting God’s people, there you will find Satan’s ministers (2Cor 11:14-15).  This abuse upon God’s house is not feeding them.  They shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord (Jer 23:32).  You will not see the fruit of godly growth from the slop that they are slinging to the people.  The fruit of these false leaders is a tearing down, a destruction (Isa 9:16;  Pr 28:15-16).  It is this their M.O. [motious operandi] (their works) that gives them away (Titus 1:16;  Mt 7:15-20).

You will not find the ministers of Satan washing the feet of their disciples (Cf. John 13:1-17).  You will find these angels of light (2Cor 11:14-15) saying that what they are doing (or teaching) is washing their feet.  They will always tell you that they are fulfilling these scriptures, without actually doing them (Jn 13:17).

Operandi Modus

Where you see leaders cursing, berating, slandering, and verbally abusing God’s people – you are seeing the working of Satan (2Thes 2:9).  A few lift-up phrases to get them shouting in unison with you is not going to erase that.  Those tactics are only tricks to mask the truth of who they are and their mission.

This lordship hierarchy is the very thing Jesus hates (1Pt 5:3;  Rev 2:6, 15).  It was His constant issue with the religious leaders of His day – just as it is today.  Just as Jesus said it would be in the Last Days in Revelation where He noted that this Doctrine of the Nicolaitans was still active lording over His people (Cf. Wiki).  Jesus hates it!  Twice! (Rev 2:6, 15)  It is not of God!  God’s ministers do not practice it or walk in it (1Cor 4:2).

Aging the Churches

This is one reason some of Satan’s ministers will teach a timeline progression of the Seven Churches in Revelation (Cf. Revelation chps 2-3) to be Ages or generations.  They teach that they did not exist at the same time but were periods of time or ages and that every time since then has been in one of these Church Ages

These false teachers conveniently always put that they are from the nice fine Philadelphia Church Age and that we are now in the Last one – the Laodicean Church Age.  This gives these ‘beaters’ another reason and opportunity to beat us up because we deserve it.  After all, they teach that; we’re the church that has forsaken our first love (Rev 2:4), and Blows and wounds scrub away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being (Pr 20:30 ).

Therefore we should submit and take it rejoicing because; Open rebuke is better than secret love (Pr 27:5;  1Cor 12:31;  Rev 3:19).  Jesus points out in Rev 2:23 that all the Churches will know when He judges Thyatira, the Fourth Church.  If these are Church Ages then how are the previous three ages going to know?  Plus Thyatira is told to hold on to what you have until I come (Rev 2:25), and who overcomes and does My will to the end (Rev 2:26).  If they are a long gone Church Age then did we miss Jesus’ coming?

This false doctrine of the Seven Church Ages was concocted and promoted by William Marrion Branham, who other false prophets have also followed down this same line of lies.  Wm Branham taught this to make himself the Messenger of the Laodicean Church Age.  It was one of William Branham’s many exaltations and titles he placed upon himself in his ascendency to be Some Great One (Acts 8:9).  There are prophets today that claim that they are this Laodicea Messenger rather than Wm Branham.  Some of them are even promoters of Branham, yet picking and choosing from what they want in his doctrines and teachings.  Making themselves twice more a son of Hell as he was (Mt 23:15).

Strange Brew

The problem with this viewpoint is many.  Starting with the fact that Jesus was addressing all the churches that existed at the time of the writing of John’s Revelation.  Jesus is not predicting the Churches that will come, they were already there.  These Seven Churches represent the spirits of the leaders that are controlling the churches – even today.

This shows us that the problems that Jesus addressed were because of the leadership which affected the whole (Gal 5:9;  Mt 16:6, 12).  Jesus warns His people to come out from among the false teachings of the leaders of the churches (2Cor 6:17-18).  Yet we find these leaders making the flock of God the ones in error and making themselves to be the right ones (Acts 8:9).  We need to realize that all of these Seven Church Spirits can be found and observed today.

The Spirits of the Churches

All of these Seven Church Spirits can be found and observed today.  You will find that all churches today will exhibit one or more of these spirits.  It is largely found in the traits of the leader.  The more separatist they are the more they are clearly identified in Revelation chapters 2 through 3.

Followers need to beware of these men because their spirits will rub off on them (Pr 29:12;  Mt 7:15-20;  2Tim 3:13-17;  Pr 22:24;  1Cor 12:13).  Whatever covering you submit yourself to also comes with the spirits associated with that covering (Isa 30:1;  Mt 23:27;  Eze 13:10;  1Cor 12:13).

Enter The Prophet

One of the more common perversions in the Church today is the proliferation of the prophetic ministry.  Especially the one that puts us in the very End Times.  With these Prophet Ministries, we most often find the element of sexual perversion.  As with this shortlist of self-proclaimed prophets with sexual issues.

These are just a few examples of the many that have come (Mt 24:5, 11, 36;  Mt 7:15-20;  Lk 6:43-45).  These prophets of sex with the spirits of the prophet leaders of Thyatira and Pergamum – Balaam and Jezebel (which we will get to shortly).  While Jim Jones and Keith Raniere did not call themselves a prophet per se, they made their people revere them as some great one (Acts 8:9) and exercised lordship (Lk 22:25) and sexual perversion over their flock as the others in this list, through their self-entitlement.

Enter The Sign

These are just some of the many (Mt 24:5) who have come in the name of God (2Pt 2:1-3;  Jer 14:14-15;  Deut 18:20-22) as God’s special anointed (Mt 24:24) claiming that the time is near (Mt 24:23, 26) and that they are the one who has the secret truths for today (Mt 24:26) and they have the place in the wilderness where you will be safe (Mt 24:26) along with the true body of Christ (Mt 24:28).

These prophets and ministries are the Matthew 24 End Time Sign that Jesus warned us about (Mt 24:23-28).

As Paul warned us in 2 Corinthians 11, these men (signs) come to us appearing as sheep (Mt 7:15), as ministers of righteousness, as the Light in this dark world (2Cor 11:14).  These men are not to be known by their anointing, or by their calling (Mt 22:14), or by their stories of great past glories (Acts 8:9) – though that’s what they want you to know them by.  They want you to believe that you’ve got some special revelation from God, a witness, that they are God’s man.  It is how they masquerade themselves (Cf. NIV on 2Cor 11:14-15).

As Christians we are to only know them by two things – they are known by their fruits (Mt 7:20), and according to their works (2Cor 11:15).  Therefore, because this reveals them to be ministers of Satan they cannot prophet or deliver you in any means (Jer 7:8;  1Sam 12:21).  Flee from these workers of darkness (2Cor 4:2).

End Time Churches

These prophet ministries are identified in the churches of Pergamum (Rev 2:12-17) which was under the prophet Balaam, and Thyatira (Rev 2:18-29) which was under the leadership of the prophet Jezebel.  Jezebel was a tolerated prophet by God’s people (Cf. NASB or NIV on Rev 2:20).  The people didn’t like the teachings of that prophet but they put up with Jezebel’s nonsense well enough (2Cor 11:4), they permitted it (Cf. TLB Rev 2:20).  They hold the people in awe and wonder at the stories they tell of their glorious past signs and wonders that God performed through them – but those wonders are lies (2Thes 2:9;  Acts 8:10-11).

These prophets pleasured themselves in their unrighteous deeds (2Thes 2:12).  They deceived the people into giving heed and having regard (Acts 8:10-11) to their teachings to the point of trading in their love for seeking truth (2Thes 2:12) for believing in and following their evil teaching and shameful immorality [NLT] depraved conduct [NIV] sensuality [ESV] destructive ways [NKJV, YLT] unrestrained ways (no one could restrain them) [HCSB] debauched lifestyles [NET]  lascivious doings [ASV] shameful ways [KJ2K] their pernicious ways (2Pt 2:2); they cause God’s people to be turned over to a Strong Delusion so that they will then believe their lies (2Thes 2:10-11).

These Two Prophets Tormented

Both of these Churches, led by prophets, were guilty of sexual immorality (Rev 2:14, 20).  It was this sin of sexual immorality that Jesus was angry over.  This was not a ‘coved by grace’ issue that those prophets were making it out to be.  Jesus did not say it was just as bad as anything else they were doing.  Jesus commanded repentance from the sexual perversions that these two prophets were teaching.

Jesus told His elect that if they did not repent of the ways and teachings of these prophets that they would be subject to the same judgment that was to come upon these prophets (Rev 2:16, 22).  Yet not all were holding to their false teachings and special secret revelations (Rev 2:24;  Mt 24:26).  This is what enrages these false leaders even more against the people and causes them to lash out and torment them (Acts 7:54).

These two prophets did not consider themselves prophesying prophetsThey were teachers (2Pt 2:1-3).  “These teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories” (2Pt 2:3 NIV) just as Simon the sorcerer used his resume (Acts 8:9).  Prophet Balaam taught how to get God’s people to sin by accepting the sacrifices of idolatry [idolizing the prophet, sacrificing yourself to submission] and committing sexual immorality (Rev 2:14).  Prophet Jezebel (called herself a prophet) was tolerated, meaning that she wasn’t easily palatable by her flock (Rev 2:20).

It was more like subjection than submission to that prophet.  These are prophets who teach that you have a license to continue in sin because Jesus has paid for your sin so that you’re forgiven and can keep walking in sin (Jude 1:4).  They teach that sin is not going to damn you [And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die (Gen 3:4)].  That you’re not going to be free from sinning until Jesus comes.  God is against these prophets that cause My people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them (Jer 23:32).  Yet they ran (Jer 23:21) and they ran and they ran – their mouths.

These Two Prophets Perverted

Jezebel was given space to repent but was unwilling to do so (Rev 2:21).  The people waited (and tolerated) to see a sign of repentance but there was none.  Prophet Jezebel’s sin was adultery with those in the Church.  Jesus was not overlooking adultery as just as bad as any other sin in the church.  Jesus was calling out adultery as the sin that would bring intense suffering judgment and death (Rev 2:22-23).  A judgment that would be witnessed by all the other churches.  Churches today are witnessing this outworking of sexual immorality in some churches.  They will also witness this judgment upon these Pergamum and Thyatira prophet churches (Rev 2:22-23).

Jesus dealt with sexual immorality in the Church because it is one of Satan’s primary entry points in the lives and control over God’s people.  Satanism knows this and is why it is practiced in all the occult.  Occultist Aleister Crowley believed and taught that anal sex was magical and the doorway to enlightenment.  This sexual sodomy is not uncommon today.  Similar sexual perversions are practiced by today’s sex prophets of the Pergamum and Thyatira churches.

In your filthiness is abomination {lewdness}; [and therefore] because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more until I have satisfied My wrath against and upon you.  (Ezekiel 24:13 AMP)

Wherefore, O harlot [prophet], hear the word of the LORD:  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;  Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.  And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.  And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.  They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.  And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.  So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.  Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.  (Ezekiel  16:35-43)
