What we witness today is the instability of a double-minded man (Jam 1:8).  Listen to how Brother Stair flip-flops on sin, judgment, Doctors, being owed something, pride, iniquity,… and more.  Most of this is hidden (and therefore overlooked) because he treats us one way and himself another – under the same topic.  His sins were forgiven long ago, but ours he flys high on his flagpole.  That’s the same way I’m going to talk about you when you leave. Absolutely!  Then later to say,  Call out a man’s sin.  Use them against him.  You damn fools.  Everyone knows there’s none righteous.  Then later to jump back to, You going to remind me of my sin?  Yes sir!

A worthless man devises and digs up mischief, and in his lips there is as a scorching fire.  A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. (Prov 16:27-28  AMPC)

How about his seeking of praise and glorying in his stories and how he is so upset that we are not responding with the awe that his pride desires.  While we are not to even think that we should get any respect or acknowledgment in our doing the dishes.  We’ve heard these stories more times than the dishes have been done.  Yet we are supposed to jump and holler abruptly in the middle of his stories, but when we do that he rails on us for it – like today when the rejoicing was put down because it was interrupting his “singing”.  You can never do right in a narcissist’s eyes.  They must have the preeminence (3Jn 1:9;  Isa 14:14) and to do that, we must be put down.

Brother Stair comes in nice but it only takes him a minute to get on us.  Then speaks the lyrics of a song and gets upset that the rejoicing interrupts his “singing”.  He would have been likewise upset if we didn’t respond this way.  You can’t win.

“It’s almost blasphemy the way you people respond to me.”

See what we mean?  Now, after everyone’s afraid to interrupt him with a response, the response is wrong again.  For a Jeremiah, with Jeremiah’s calling and message, this Jeremiah has forgotten that Bro Stair said that God told him to stop paying attention to their faces.  Yet we constantly have to deal with him fearing our faces.  This blasphemy referred to here is because Brother Stair believes, and teaches, that he is the greatest man on the face of the Earth – at least today.  Even greater than Jesus, so to not idolize him is blasphemy.  God’s word actually calls it idolatry!

The head of the BBC came up here to talk to me.  What a phenomenon.

Brother Stair is a Phenomenon.  A legend in his own mind.  And many more.

Jesus was guilty of every sin ever committed.  He became sin.

Jesus being sin for us is not the same thing as Him being guilty of sin.  Now here’s the blasphemy.  That’s heresy!  God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2Cor 5:21).   If Jesus were guilty of sin then He would not have been able to pay for our sin.  Jesus is the sinless, spotless Lamb of God without blemish and without spot that was slain for us (1Pt 1:19  NLT, KJV). 

The Old Testament sacrifices that paid for sin did not become guilty of sin, it’s death propitiated for our deserved death for our sins.  It is the death that is important here, not the guilt.  Sin is the issue, and the penalty, not the transference of sin, is what makes peace (propitiates) before God (1Jn 2:2).  It fulfills God’s requirements for sin – death.  The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Eze 18:20).  Jesus died without spot or blemish as only a sinless sacrifice could not only pay for all our sins but bring about the union that God desired to bring us into with Him.  That union comes through the covenant that Jesus cut between God and man.  This covenant is symbolized in the covenant meal or Passover from which Communion comes from and what the Communion ceremony represents and is all about (which is very misunderstood by the Christian Church).

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Gal 3:13).  This doesn’t mean that Christ committed acts that made Him cursed or that would bring a curse upon Him.  Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith (Rom 3:24-25).  He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1John 2:2).

Will you please do what I taught you.  Would you please.  Then those people wouldn’t have to hear me browbeat you.

You don’t hear the half of it.

We are leaders.  So what you do is follow the leader.

Giving credit that we are all leaders but that only means that you are still to follow the leader (Brother Stair).  So you’ve now got a title as a leader but you’re to behave like a slave.

This is not a retirement home.  This is not an old-folks home.  We’re here to work out our salvation.  Ya don’t even know the scriptures.  You don’t apply them.

The Overcomer Ministry Farm has turned into an old-folks home and most of those there are in retirement and bringing in their retirement and Social Security checks.  20 years ago Brother Stair said he could get everyone there on Social Security but he would not do it because he taught it was wrong.  Now he has gone and got everyone he can on some kind of Social Security so he can get more money.  Brother Stair used to say that he could get it because they will give it to anyone who’s old enough.  Then when Brother Stair got everyone on it, he tried to get it for himself and found out that, contrary to his genius words, they wouldn’t just give out money to anyone.  Since Bro Stair never worked a real job in his life he never paid into Social Security and therefore had nothing to draw out.

While many have come to the Overcomer to work out their salvation, Brother Stair has never joined into that working out process.  For 99% of us, this process involved fleeing from the evil of Brother Stair’s wickedness and leaving the Farm.  This was a test in the working of our salvation to see if we would obey God or obey a man.

Another evidence or leaving as the path of salvation is in Bro Stair’s statement here that Ya don’t even know the scriptures.  You don’t apply them.  How telling is this as to why some remain under the deception that they are on the path of salvation while the fruit they witness is the way of the wicked (Prov 2:12, 4:14, 15:9, 4:19).  The 99% applied the scriptures and fled for the King’s Highway.  The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul (Pr 16:17).  We repented of the way that made the appearance that it was straight.  There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death (Prov 16:27 AMPC).  A violent man entices his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way that is not good (Prov 16:27).

You folk listening out there you wise guys.  Why don’t you become Bereans and read the Book?

Just covered that.  He says that but he doesn’t want you to do that.  How can you when Brother Stair has made himself the Book?  So if what the Book tells you is not what he likes, he just modifies it with a revelation (Rev 2:24).

Man’s got to give account to every word, every deed.  The law is not fair.  There is no justice!

He who willfully separates and estranges himself [from God and man] seeks his own desire and pretext to break out against all wise and sound judgment. (Prov 18:1  AMPC)

First starting with a statement about justice, then claiming law and justice are in error.  Brother Stair doesn’t believe that he will give account for his words and deeds.  He teaches that they are already accounted for and paid.  So why does he quote this?  For us.  We are the ones who must give account – often to Brother Stair.  And so that listeners will think that he actually believes it. 

You can witness this many times in the broadcast in the hours after service today.  Brother Stair is saying the right words, but he doesn’t believe them as he doesn’t live by them.  He is doing this so that listeners (and financial supporters) believe he is preaching the truth of the Bible.  It’s a deception to get them to lower their guard.  It works well for him.  99% of his followers have been manipulated by this very tactic. {Pr 16:10)

Call out a man’s sin.  Use them against him.  You damn fools.  Everyone knows there’s none righteous.  How many times do we accuse each other?  What’s that to you?

Brother Stair is turning the focus away from himself here, yet this perfectly defines him.  He calls out men’s sins, uses them against them.  While he likes to remind us there’s none righteous when it’s his unrighteousness that’s in focus, he forgets this when he is using our sins against us.  That goes with the accusing each other that he asks how many times?  But not how many times he is accusing us, but he directs this upon us accusing one another.  Same as it ever was.

What’s that to you?  Here Brother Stair is making the point that it’s none of your business my sins and iniquities.  Get your nose out of my wickedness.  While yours are my business – because God called me to do so.

The last thing God’s got to do is subdue, not forgive it [our sin].

So how is Brother Stair doing at this subduing?  He’s walking in gross sexual sin, while he did say last week that he’s been pretty good for the last two years – although we saw that his own house wasn’t convinced.  This is not what we hear Brother Stair say about his sins.  He places them (and demands us to do that same) on forgiveness, not on any working of his in subduing or having God subdue them. 

So if he’s teaching that God is the One that has to subdue our sins, then what is his beef with his own people (many that he sins with) in doing that work themselves?  We see here that Brother Stair’s beef is actually with God.  He’s just taking it out on God’s people.  Just like the accuser of the brethren does (Rev 12:10).

Your lack of understanding is appalling.  You’re eyes tell me that.

Well, who are you anyway [Brother Stair]?  What don’t you settle it.  Then we’ll go back to the biblical example.

“He was concerned about WHOM do men say not WHAT do they say but WHOM.”

More misunderstanding of the English language and the meaning of words.  Does he mean WHAT they are saying as to WHOM you are?  They are not different things.  They go together.

If I could just show you the image that comes out of your face.

Likewise, I’m sure.  Here’s a mild one.

I’m out on probation.  I have not hid it from nobody.  What have you done?  You can go up on the Internet and read all my charges.

Well, you can go read it but you’d better not, and if you do remember they’re all lies.  Right?  He hid this probation from his radio stations so he could get back on the air.

You ought to hear some of the emails I get. “You Mother F@#%ing Child Molester!  You Pedophile!

Yes, he did say that.  I’m sure he justifies it because he’s quoting someone.  He says this and uses the F word often in the Dining Hall and on the Farm.  Now we all finally get to experience the reality of “Every word out of my mouth comes from the Throne of God”.

That word “MF” has become a password.

Now we know Brother Stair’s password.  Then he goes on a racist slant and says a black man uses MF, “maybe ‘cos he’s guilty?”

That is not a term used by White folk.”  “That was a term that came out of the Black group.  Why?  Because it’s being done!

8-O.  And how do you know that Brother Stair?  Have you done it?

No remorse.  We got an arrogant spirit about us, I’m telling you, we really do.  The way you demand things. You take advantage.  It’s the way you’s do it.  You think this place owes you.  You think you‘ve done something really special.

We know who does think that.  Don’t we?  The one we witness the arrogance and lack of remorse in.

“Neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. and turned the grace of God into lasciviousness.  I don’t mean to do anything.  I’m free.”

Brother Stair is compounding two scriptures here.  Though he probably doesn’t realize that.  What he doesn’t do here is identify that these two verses identify him perfectly.  Romans 1 is where the first part comes from that Paul is talking about those that Professing themselves to be wise – that’s Brother Stair.  Witness it any Service (Rom 1:22).  And how he has changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into the image of a corruptible man – himself (Rom 1:23). 

Paul is talking here about those who walk in uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, those who dishonor their own bodies between themselves (Rom 1:24).  Paul is defining Brother Stair and his Overcomer Ministry.  But he’s not through, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections, men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient (Rom 1:24, 26-28). 

We have written before on how Pauls’s list here identifies Brother Stair.  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder [abortion], debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents [authority], Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Rom 1:29-32).

The second part is from Jude 1:4.  It is another verse we bring out many times because of how it identifies Brother Stair.  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and [in so doing they are] denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ (Jude 1:4).

Jude further puts us in remembrance of the identifying signs of these certain men exposing some of their works/fruits.  Jude has many parallels with Paul in Romans because these men are identified in that they defile the flesh, despise dominion (Jude 1:8).  You can read more details on this list in the articles End Times Cult Leader – Says He Is Elijah, Jacob, and John, and Boob Tube.

…because your sins are forgiven.  Then bring forth fruit meet for repentance.

Wow, that’s nice rhetoric.  It’s rhetoric because Bro Stair is putting it on us and it will never apply to him.  He has not – and will not – bring forth any fruits of repentance.  He just says he has and we’re supposed to take him at his word without ever seeing any manifestation of it – any fruit (Matt 7:20).  Since 2001 we’re still waiting, but alas, it’s only gotten worse.

Doctor, My Doctor

Brother Stair starts talking about a sister that went to the Dentist and needed the money from him to pay for it.  This Dentist, or Doctor as Brother Stair refers to him, is Brother Stair’s friend who Brother Stair helped start his business.  We have long told you that Dentists’ are Doctors and that Brother Stair says that God Commanded him to tell us to Stop going to the Doctors. 

This apparently wasn’t a command for Brother Stair – as usual.  Now you have Bro Stair’s own mouth on it – so Stop going to the Dentist if you follow Brother Stair’s Commands of God.  But since his Doctor friend (who is most likely the one who performed surgery on Brother Stair to remove all his teeth) wants to come by and see Brother Stair’s Farm, we can let him slide – can’t we?

Don’t worry, he’ll get back to quoting from those Commands of God – in just a few minutes.  He will even tell us to Stop going to those Doctors.  After he’s told us about his people going there and his paying for it.  Another Command of God was to get the TV out of your house.  Yet in at least 1979 Brother Stair was watching TV in his Campground Motel in Walterboro and getting his news off the TV.  [As can be heard in the message The Day of the Lord Is Near] 

Was it after his exposition over TV in the 80s that caused him to issue this Command?  That’s convenient of You God.  Too bad you didn’t issue that Command to Brother Stair earlier – since if that’s a Command of God then it has always been a Command of God (Heb 13:8).  This makes us ask, how does the man filled with the Holy Ghost not know God’s Command on TV – all the years that he watched it?  Or is that still a valid question today with Bro Stair’s watching TV on his computer?

It’s not like we thought we were near the End – or was it?  Brother Stair said in 1979 that we were just two to three years from the Antichrist.  And he was fully into watching TV news, and Bonanza.  Now is that the prophet you want to be listening to that can tell you when anything is going to happen?

Are you folk ever going to stop it?  Are you ever going to give up on your iniquity?  Fools!  Thou fool!

Again, “you folk” or his favorite “you people” is a derogatory way to say that “you’re not my people”.  Sounds like iniquity separating yourself from God’s people.  And why are God’s people not your people?

Don’t you know you’re in the night season?  You haven’t been told that?

If you mean the night season of Proverbs 7 where the simple man (a man void of understanding) was roaming about in the black and dark night, in the evening?  In the twilight where he was enticed by the harlot?  Or the harlot that had prepared a place (Overcomer) where you should come for love until the Good Man returns at His appointed time?  That night season that we see typified in Brother Stair and his Overcomer Ministry?  No, you haven’t told us about that one.

You see, those who keep God’s words, and lay up His commandments with them don’t fall into the traps and snares that Brother Stair has run greedily after (Prov 7:1;  Jude 1:11).  Because following God’s ways keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words (Prov 7:4).  Sadly, many of us fell succumb to the flattering words from the harlot Overcomer.

You want to touch me?  Go ahead.  You want to make a judgment on me?  Go ahead.

This turns into an invitation for the Sisters – want to touch me?  Go ahead.  Brother Stair touched a Sister in Service to the extent that he had to tell her to button it back up.

This make a judgment on me nonsense is spun to place the guilt and blame on you for your judgment.  We are to make a righteous judgment Brother Stair will tell us.  Then he tells us what that’s supposed to mean – that we judge that he is right.  That’s another perversion of the word of God.  We need only agree with the word of God and judge according to the judgment that God has already laid down.  It’s not our judgment – it’s God’s – we are only choosing to agree with the established judgment of God.  This is not what Bro Stair will teach you because it takes the focus of the blame off you and means that God is behind the judgment.  That’s what Brother Stair refuses to admit.  You’ll find as you read that what we are doing is using God’s judgment and showing you how to apply God’s word to the events and words spoken by Brother Stair today.

This Isn’t What I Wanted to Talk About

Then we’re off on another rabbit trail.  Never finding out what it was he came to talk about.  Perhaps it was thwarted by the abrupt tantrum of “Shall we stand, I’ve had enough of it.” leaving in haste.  Unlike the Jeremiah that he claims to be, he pays full attention to the people and like a child gets his feeling hurt when they don’t dance or morn when he plays the pipe or sings his dirge (Mt 11:16-17).

Some years ago I put out a statement, Keep your eyes on Jerusalem.  Why did I say that?  When Jesus said that it was not possible for the whole world to see Jerusalem.

There’s that, but who was Jesus was referring to when He said ‘you’?  Perhaps He was referring to those in or around Jerusalem, as that’s where He said it?  BECAUSE His following words are addressed to those in Judah to flee to the mountains and those in the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city (Luke 21:20-22  NASB).  So you see, Jesus IS talking TO those in view of Jerusalem.

The statement Keep your eyes on Jerusalem was taken from the cult leader Herbert W Armstrong of the World Wide Church of God.  It was an article from October 1976 in The Plain Truth Magazine that Brother Stair no doubt read.  So much for originality.  Ever wonder why Brother Stair never demonizes Herbert W Armstrong but rather praises him?  He is praised for his great outreach, travel, and knowing all the presidents and heads of nations.  The very things others like Joel Osteen are vilified for.  The things that Brother Stair says make you of the world and not of God.  But Armstrong and Branham get a free pass on that.  Is that because they are fellow cult leaders?  Birds of a feather…

You poor people, we think we know so much.  Your destruction is being PLANNED!  Get out of the cities.

This pandemic is a perfect time that Brother Stair is not utilizing as he once would have to get masses of fresh meet flocking into his Overcomer Farm to blindly grind the grain (Judges 16:21).  Still, he’s toying with his Command of God to Get out of the cities.  Did we miss what Jesus just said in Luke 21:20-22?  That only at the time when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, are you told to THEN leave the city.  Then those in the city must leave.  Jesus failed to give us any command to leave the cities that Brother Stair has insisted on for some 40 plus years.  Who should we listen to?

Stop going to those Doctors.  Well, you’ve got Dr. Rhodes.  “They don’t HEAR ME!”

So who are those Doctors?  Because obviously, Brother Stair’s personal Doctor Harold Rhodes is not one of those.  I mean, if he was a real Doctor (one of those that we’d have to avoid because God commanded it through the prophet) then he’d be on WebMD, right?

Perhaps that’s why They don’t HEAR Brother Stair.  Because they are confused about his double-mindedness in having a Doctor and commanding (from God now) that we can’t go to doctors.  And didn’t he just say last week that I don’t go to Doctors?  Who’s confused here?

“Nevermind.  I’m not going to reach this house Lord.”

By your words… You have what you speak.  (Mt 12:37;  Pr 18:21)

A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil].  Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. (Prov 18:20-21  AMPC)

The Flimsy Foundation

“You know, I’ve told you people time and time again.  When God had spoke to me over the years, I wasn’t a very moral man as far as you’re concerned.  Well, why in the world did he keep on doing what he done?  Mine iniquity.”

This is our first clue that something is wrong with the calling of Brother Stair.  He admits that even by our standards he wasn’t a moral man – what about by God’s standards?  Far short!  Search the scriptures, you will not find an unclean vessel that God used.  You will find – and this is where the deception comes in that Bro Stair teaches – that there are those God called and used that afterward fell.  What you then find is the God never used them after that.  That is what the Overcomer will not teach you, and by which he overcomes you.

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.” (2Tim 2:19  NASB)

God’s word is clear that He has standards.  The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD (Prov 15:26).  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD (Prov 15:8).  God does not play with immoral men.  They are detestable and abhorrent to Him.  Surprisingly, this was the message of Brother Stair – that we were to walk holy lives, without sin.  Moreso, Bro Stair lied to us for decades in telling us that he was now without sin and that he had sinned his seven times (Pr 24:16) so that if he fell just once more he would be damned and finished.  [Which has in some way come to pass].

God has no use for the strife of a perverse man, aside from pouring out His wrath (Pr 16:28).  Let us go back to Timothy where Paul makes this ‘some are for honor while others are for dishonor’ clear (1Tim 2:20).  You see, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [the things the immoral man Bro Stair does], he will be an implement [vessel] for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work (2Tim 2:21 NASB).  Yet contrary to God’s word we find Brother Stair bragging that he’s a wicked man and that this god of his is supposedly using him regardless.  Brothers and Sisters, that just doesn’t line up with anything in the Word of the Living God.

Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart (2Tim 2:22).  The vessels of honor are sanctified unto a pure heart so that the Master CAN use them.  We don’t find this pursuit in Brother Stairs’ life and stories.  What we find is that from a young man he followed his youthful lusts and pursued sexual gratification.  Which we see magnified to this day. 

Remember, God’s foundation is not sand.  God’s sure foundation has the seal that states that the Lord’s people keep away from wickedness (2Tim 2:19).  Brother Stair has not only done the opposite but he teaches others to do the same and has pleasure in (and with) them that do them (Matt 5:19;  Rom 1:32;  Ecc 19:5).  He teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality (Rev 2;20).  If that wasn’t enough, he casts out those who would stand in his way of wickedness [like the River did] and he casts them out of his church – he excommunicates them (3John 1:9-10;  Pr 4:19, 14).  Go and read 2Timothy 2:14-26 and see if that isn’t contrary to everything you know about Brother Stair.

What should have happened in 2001 and since then is that the Church should have obeyed God and “Expel[ed] the wicked person from among you.” (1Cor 5:13) and removed Brother Stair from his position of lordship.  But because he has established himself as the lord of the Overcomer (which is his own creation so that he cannot be expelled) he rules with an iron fist and no one can restrain him.  Thus, he casts out all who oppose his rule and his sin (3John 1:9-10).  So the operation of the Church according to God’s word can never be exercised at the Overcomer Ministry.  It’s a one-man rule and that’s the way Bro Stair teaches it has to be.  While God’s word tells us that it is a wise servant that shall have rule and not the one that causes shame (Pr 17:2).

Many times since 2001 have brothers gone to Brother Stair to gently try to bring him into alignment with God’s will.  If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother (Mt 18:15 NASB).  But Brother Stair has never once listened.  His hard-headed rule, verbal abuse, and calling people out that even get close to doing so has caused most from daring to even try.  But still, there has been a handful that has done so.  Naturally, none of them are there now because of what we just discussed – ex-communication. 

But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ (Matt 18:16).  This has also been done – to no avail.  We will note that it usually never gets to this point because Brother Stair is careful to cast people out before they would gather others to also confront him with.  Thinning their numbers, or stamping out all resistance, is what he does to stay in power (Dan 7:7).  Because the next step infuriates Bro Stair, If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector (Matt 18:17).  This is one reason he rails on people that don’t eat with him.  You dare not fast too long or Bro Stair will think you’re either calling him an adulterer (1Cor 5:11) or you’re silently practicing Matthew 18:17.  This was his issue with Brother Kirk the last time Kirk stopped by – that one was a 1Cor 5:11 statement that Bro Kirk was making.

But now, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is a sexually immoral person, or a greedy person, or an idolater, or is verbally abusive, or habitually drunk, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a person. (1Cor 5:11  NASB)

The command of Paul to tell it to the church (Mt 18:17) is shunted by Brother Stair with his foundational teachings on stop talking amongst yourselves.  Brother Stair does not like and flamingly discourages friendships and fellowship.  His teaching on fellowship is that our fellowship is to only be with God and not amongst the body.  He pulls this from 1John 1:3 which says our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.  Yet I’m pretty sure the Father and the Son have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness because we are told to do likewise, and further we are told to rather reprove them (Eph 5:11).  This brings us back to telling it to the church (Mt 18:17). 

What is ignored (here) by Brother Stair’s false teaching on fellowship is that fellowship of believers is taught throughout the Bible.  Comfort yourselves together, and edify one another (1Thes 5:11).  Consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.  Exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Heb 10:24-25).  Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Pr 27:17).  Perhaps that’s why Brother Stair’s countenance is so brazen – he resists being sharpened. 

There’s many more but finally, we take you back to 1John 1:3 where Brother Stair extracts have the verse to bring about his doctrine of fellowship.  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us (1John 1:3).  What Brother Stair forgot to tell you is that John is not discounting our fellowship amongst believers when he says our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son.  John precedes that with magnifying that we have are to have fellowship with the brothers and sisters.

They Soon Forgot

“Oh, but They’ll Soon Forget.  It won’t be long, they’ll forget.”

This is the sad truth – they forget.  The people of the Overcomer and his listeners soon forget what manner of man he is (James 1:24).  This is that forgotten mirror that Brother Stair keeps talking about wishing he had for his congregation but he needs it for himself.  He cannot see that they are merely mirroring what they see in him – and he doesn’t like what he sees.  But he still persists in hardening his heart to it being him and so he blames everyone else.  He is also the one who has forgotten what he says God told him.  Those things which he has gone against.  [Here’s one such item]

“I’m not confused.  I just really can’t understand why God’s doing it like this.”

That without understanding comes from not walking in God’s ways and doing and speaking perverse things.  All the utterances of My mouth are in righteousness; There is nothing crooked or perverted in them.  They are all straightforward to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge (Prov 8:8-9  NASB).  And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? (Mt 15:16).  Without understanding, covenant-breakers, From that great chapter of Romans 1:31.  (1Cor 14:33)

Then Brother Stair apparently gropes a sister then tells her:

“All right, button it up.  See now, she ain’t gonna like this.  She thinks I make a…  Yeah, but that’s where her mind goes.  You shouldn’t do like that in front of all them people.  Now I’ll even let her peek.  Now looke here.  Go sit down.”

So we get to hear what he does and knowing what he does we can imagine from his words what he’s doing to the sister.  A soothing tongue is a tree of life, But perversion in it crushes the spirit (Prov 15:4).  If you Wonder What He’s After take a look at that link.

“It’s not easy living with me.  ‘Cos I’m a weirdo.  I am.”

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?  Nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush [Nor did they know even how to be ashamed] (Jer 6:15 [NASB]).  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:  Who changed the truth of God into a lie,  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:  God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Rom 1:24-26, 28).
