Timely Gathering, Feast of Trumpets

[The bad grammar is due to this being quoted from Brother Stair’s email]

Time Need To Have Revelation?

So We The Elect Will Not Be Deceived?

Those two lines are from Brother Stair’s email, “Very Important Hear and Obey”, sent out from 30 Aug – 20 Sep 2017.  The one that starts with the “Timely Gathering, Feast of Trumpets, September 21-23” and ends with the date as “Feast of Trumpets August 21-22.”   Not only is that a different month, but it’s also different days, 3 vs. 2.  Spirit of confusion at work here?

What Does Brother Stair Mean By This?

Especially since he starts with 1Th 5:1-9, “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”

Did Brother Stair just cut and pasted this in without reading it.  Since what Paul says here nullifies any need for attending a Gathering or having to hear a word from Brother Stair on any times and seasons – for we know perfectly.   If we are to take Brother Stair’s importance on this then we must realize that he is stating that, we are in darkness and That Day could overtake us as a thief, if we don’t harken to Brother Stair.

I’m pretty sure that’s the opposite of what Paul just said… as quoted by Brother Stair.

Worse than that, Brother Stair quotes Romans 13:12-14, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”  [The boldly highlighted portions are there to indicate the works (fruit) of Brother Stair].

If Brother Stair is interested in getting the ‘elect’ right in these areas (it was Brother Stair who quoted this after all) then perhaps Brother Stair should get the things listed here in Romans 13:12-14 out of his life first.  These works of darkness are practiced wholesale by Brother Stair – fornication, adultery, lust, lewdness, wantonness, strife, envying; his teachings and rules on the Farm are all done for making provision for his flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

How is a man in this state going to get anything from God, or have any good word come from that polluted stream to impart to you?  (2Tim 2:21-22)

Does a spring of water bubble out first with fresh water and then with bitter water?
Can you pick olives from a fig
tree, or figs from a grape vine?
No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty pool.
If you are wise, live a life of steady goodness so that only good deeds will pour forth
And if you don’t brag about them, then you will be truly wise!
James 3:11-13 (TLB)

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver,
but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified,
and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace,
with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2Timothy 2:20-22

Quickly, How Are The Elect Deceived?

Let us take a look at Matthew 24:23-25, “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.   For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets (also earlier in v11), and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Did you see that?  Brother Stair teaches that his job is to point out “Jesus is coming” [“Time need to have revelation”] and be The Sign that indicates or points to Him.   Here in Matthew, Jesus is telling us that we are not to believe the man who points that the Christ is come[ing], “believe it (him) not”, “there shall arise… false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders.  Surely also Brother Stair has shown us, through the stories of his glorious past, of his great signs and wonders.  Again fulfilling this scripture – just as Simon the sorcerer did in Acts 8:9 by, “giving out that himself was some great one“.  Simon was regarded as the Anointed man of God.

Answer:

By false prophets (that’s how they are deceived).  Prophets whose prophecy has failed once.  It only takes once to forever be a false prophet (Deut 18:22;  Deut 13:1-5).  It is by false prophets that the elect are deceived.

“So we the elect will not be deceived”

“If it were possible” (Mt 24:24), Jesus is inferring here that it is not possible for the very elect to be deceived.  Brother Stair claims that only the very elect will not be deceived, and he teaches that he is the only one in the “very elect” category.  So it seems that only Brother Stair is not going to be deceived, all the while he is the one deceiving the elect (2Tim 3:13).

Let’s Go Back To The Beginning

Brother Stair is calling you to a Gathering to know the time from him that he is going to announce the Christ and when all this is going to take place.  The verses Brother Stair quotes are warning us against the very thing Brother Stair is doing here.  Hmm.  Then Brother Stair quotes scriptures that are condemning his current sins.   Brother Stair is probably doing this to hide that he is guilty of these sins, something he did wholesale before 2001 when he was found in gross sexual sin.  Brother Stair learned (from the shysters that schooled him) that if you expose and preach against the sins you’re committing, then the people will never think you’re guilty of them.  It’s hiding by exposure.  It’s very effective, as we found with Brother Stair.  It’s the same thing he continues to do to this day, realizing that the listeners that support him do not know about his ongoing sins.  They think the blasting of his congregation is justified and about their sins, rather than their looks and reactions being actual objections to Brother Stair’s sins.

Give Us A Man To Lead Us

We still hear people tell us that they (somehow) believe that Brother Stair is going to have the timely word for the end time, at the right time.  Really?  After all this?  Brother Stair has not said anything to this date that has helped the Body of Christ.  All of his prophecies have failed, he walks in gross sexual sin, and condemning others for not being okay with it – what word can this man possibly have for anyone about anything?

If that’s not enough…  Scripture just showed us that this is the deception that was foretold and that we are not to believe this man.   Scripture also told us that we, the elect, are going to know – we have a personal relationship with Almighty God after all (1Jn 2:27).   Why would we seek another?  What do we need with a prophet when we have the Holy Spirit?  Prophets, like Brother Stair claims to be, were done away with and are not needed if you are born again and filled with the Holy Ghost (1Jn 2:27).  The New Testament prophet is not the same as what Brother Stair sets himself up as.   Brother Stair places himself, by his own teachings, as an Old Testament prophet – you don’t hear from God except through him.  Like a Catholic Priest – you don’t get to God without going through him.

The only allowance Brother Stair has to this is that you are to get a witness from God on Brother Stair and once you have that (which God doesn’t give, another spirit might give it, but it cannot come from God) then you only hear from (said) god through Brother Stair after that.   Any deviation from Brother Stair’s will is straying from God’s will.   Any rebellion from Brother Stair’s wishes (like not accepting his continuing in sin) is a rebellion against God, and Brother Stair has excommunicated people and Communities over this (which he relabels) rebellion and iniquity.  Remember, according to Brother Stair’s tape message #70 “God Never Answers No”, that God is only going to give you a favorable witness for Brother Stair.  If God were to tell you NO to Brother Stair, then Brother Stair denies you heard from God.  After all, “God Never Answers No”.  I wonder what God meant by thou shall NOT?  Sounds a lot like a NO to me.

2Timothy 3:8 fits perfectly here, these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”  Paul is speaking of the Last Days deceivers and starts out identifying them by their fruits, “Lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers… unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,,, But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”  (2Tim 3:2-6;  Tim 3:13)

Juxtaposed to these corrupters are Paul’s final word in 2Timothy 3:17, “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works”.  And for the non-man of God who resists perfection, he says, “their folly shall be manifest unto all men (2Tim 3:9).

A Final Note

Matthew 24, remember earlier, that was from Matt 24.   Matthew 24 opens with the disciples coming to Jesus to ask Him what would be the signs of the End, and His coming, and Jesus told them not to be concerned about it for they would be clueless and would have to seek out a prophet that I will give My word to for those days.  NO!   That‘s not what Jesus said!   But according to what Brother Stair teaches, and for his personal relevance, that is just what Jesus must have said.  So, you decide.  Who’s right here?

Dear Christian, you have the spirit of God in you – you decide (1Jn 2:27).  Choose you this day Whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15).

Stop listening to teaching that contradicts what you know is right.
Pr 19:27
